"The email that I never had a response to… I would not recommend. Good morning. My husband and I recently stayed at Bellbry Lodge, from the the 12th to 16th and wanted to share some feed back with you. For the most part our stay was good. Lovely accommodation, nice linens etc - however - and this was the drawcard for us staying with you over other accommodation I had been looking at was the private plunge pool. We were most upset to be unable to use it at all, as it was freezing and then to hear that friends of ours who were staying at a resort at Palm Cove (where we were going to stay) were in fact swimming in their pool at their accommadation. I splurged on Bellbry purely for the private pool and could of stayed elsewhere for considerably less and swam. If your website had said, that the pool was subject to seasonal swimming I would have booked somewhere we could have swam. Appreciated the wine and the nibbles left."

"A very pleasant stay and I have already suggested to my family to come again next year. Short stroll to the beach, plenty to do in the area, great day trips available to book at the on-site Visitor Information Centre too. The Cairns Art Gallery and The Cairns Aquarium are well worth a visit. As are the many and varied restaurants in Cairns and Port Douglas. Villa Marine is the best choice for a quiet break but close enough to all the action when desired. The apartments here are all self contained, comfortable and well appointed. This hotel is not too big and there is absolutely no hustle and bustle to deal with. Lovely pool and lots of walking and hiking opportunities in the region. The gardens, rainforest and bird life were a special attraction for me. Excellent customer service and lots of useful local knowledge was readily provided by the Management Team and staff.
