"I have been a loyal guest at Robinson Club Apulia for 15 years, and up until 10 years ago, I considered this resort one of the best in Italy. Unfortunately, since Mario, an excellent manager, left, the quality of the resort has drastically declined. The service has become terrible. The beach, once wonderful, is now unwalkable and increasingly narrow, with an insufficient number of sunbeds for guests. The selection of clientele has deteriorated significantly; the resort is now full of rude and low-class people. Once exclusive, it has been turned into a chaotic playground. The beach party, which used to be a magical event with beautiful lights, is now sad and lifeless. The situation is worsened by people playing football in the pine forest, disturbing those seeking some peace and quiet. There is constant shouting and noise from both children and ill-mannered parents, leading to frequent arguments between German guests and these unruly individuals. There are also certain staff members who seem unwilling to work. Some bartenders at the beach party were throwing ice at each other, splashing not only me but other guests as well. If there had been a manager like the one we used to have, such behavior would never have been allowed. It pains me to say this, but this resort has become a disappointment. I have cherished memories of my childhood here, and it saddens me greatly to see how much it has deteriorated."

"We stayed in a beautiful, spacious room with a balcony that had a nice view of the town and the sea. It was so very clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and our coffees every morning were delicious. We had dinner for a great price and it was a full four course meal! We drove easily to other towns in southern Puglia. This family owned hotel is a definite must stay! Thank you to Francesco and his family for making us feel welcome and taking care of us during our stay."

"The hotel is good with good infrastructure But there are still a lot of problems that could be solved. - At the beach There are too many deckchairs at the beach compared to its size, we are on top of each other whereas on the neighboring beaches, the deckchairs are spaced apart There are at least 4 people for security but they stay at the entrance to the beach and don't do much Many people smoke and leave cigarette butts in the sand while there are children playing with them, they would be better off doing prevention by telling people not to leave cigarette butts in the sand - In the hotel There is nothing that is respected and above all no one to enforce the rules, I am asthmatic and I have a hard time with cigarette smoke and everyone lets people smoke in non-smoking places (like at the bar) and when we asks an employee, he shrugs. I even saw the assistant manager talking to a person who was smoking under the no smoking sign. - At the restaurant We wanted to test the "adult only" area and an employee came to seat 4 including a child in this area. There are teenagers too who came to settle in another day A lot of hotel employees pass through this place, it's not normal not to enforce the rules Afterwards there is always - the adult swimming pool Same for the adult pool, a 2 year old child was there another time there were only teenagers, the assistant director even poked his head in but did nothing - the shows There are shows on certain evenings of two types: - dancers who come, it's always the same thing, a little monotonous (plus, we wonder why there are 2 young children, they would be better off at home) - staff shows, I preferred these, more varied, more rhythmic The big problem with the shows is that they are behind the swimming pool and we do the stage from very far away and to the side, they should be done in a better place - the beach restaurant it's nice to eat by the beach but we would also like the waiters to enforce the rules, it is posted no telephone at the table when you look at your phone without sound, it's not disturbing but as soon as you have one phone per child, it becomes a mess and very noisy (children can eat without watching a video, that's possible too) - the reception, the staff speak English very poorly even when they have the language flag on the badge, it's catastrophic"

"I just came back from Ugento yesterday and stayed at the houses of Messapy for 13 days: what to say...simply perfect !! Jacob and Samuel make you feel “in family” immediately, satisfying all the demands; excellent breakfast served salt-sweet with fresh products of the same morning, spacious room( almost a large monolocal), It always cleans with care and with the change of bleeding (Idem for the bedrooms), total friendliness, a price-quality relationship difficult to find in a central location in the beautiful mesapic country. Experience where you “palp” every day that the client is at the centre of everything. If we were to return to Ugento, it would be the absolute choice."
