Namale Resort & Spa – All Inclusive
"If your looking for the most romantic destinations in Fiji, look no further than the Namale Resort & Spa. I searched the internet for months attempting to find the perfect place for my wife an I to spend our 50th Anniversary. I was looking for somewhere special, and man did I find it. Namale Resort sits on over 500 acres with only 22 Bures and Villas, which makes for the most peaceful and relaxing place we have ever been. The STAFF made this trip special. The resort is great, but it's the staff makes you feel like part of the Namale family. The staff and management prepared a surprise dinner for our 50th Anniversary evening that brought my wife and I too tears. We had gone to the main restaurant for dinner, but upon arrival, we were serenaded with an anniversary song and then taken to the second restaurant, which was opened for just the two of us. We were escorted through the restaurant to our seaside table along a path of lighted candles and flower pedals. Dinner was fantastic and what a view. The staff and management made this trip and our special day of 50 years together the most memorable of all and again, more watery eyes. Thanks for the memories."
Daku Resort
"We visited Savusavu on a cruise ship. The port was added as a last minute schedule change so we had nothing planned. We wanted to go snorkeling so the ship staff recommended that we contact Daku. I called them the morning that we arrived and they told us to tender ashore and they would pick us up. The day pass included round trip transport (a short ride), lunch, and use of the facilities for 75 Fiji dollars per person. We found this to be a great value. The resort is not fancy. It has a nice open area where there is a registration desk, small bar, and restaurant. There is a small pool adjacent to this area with a few chairs. The staff were very friendly. The chef took our order for lunch when we arrived. The shoreline is across the street from the property. We got in the water and found abundant coral heads with many variety of fish close the the shore. The water was warm and crystal clear. We were the only ones in the water so there was not interference from other swimmers. The only caveat would be that this might not be the best choice for novice swimmers as there are no guides with you and the entry point is very rocky. When we finished snorkeling, we walked back to the resort and our lunch was served. The grilled tuna was very good. It came with fries, salad, and drinks. If time had permitted, we would have gone snorkeling again. The driver returned us to the pier promptly upon request. Since we did not stay on the property, I cannot comment on the rooms or other serviced. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and found it to be a great value. We would definitely do it again."
The Remote Resort
"We celebrated our 20th Wedding anniversary at The Remote Resort. Stayed in the Royal Retreat Villa which was at the far end of the property. We chose to stay at this resort based on reviews and it did not disappoint. We loved everything about our stay. The staff are beautiful people who work hard to make sure you have an exceptional stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The food served to us at each meal was delicious - fresh, varied and plentiful. We loved having our dinner in a surprise location each night too. The room was comfortable, with insect screens on all the windows, so you can enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. Lots of comfy places to lounge both inside and outside our room; we loved sitting out on the deck reading. Warm outdoor shower was a nice touch too. We love snorkelling, and went out 2 or 3 times every day. The house reef is fantastic and easily accessible from the jetty. We went out each day on one of the snorkelling excursions to the local surrounding reefs as well as to rainbow reef and to swim with the Manta Rays. All of these excursions were excellent and worth doing. We have never been to Fiji before, and I suspect this experience will be hard to beat. Highly recommended."
Naveria Heights Lodge
"It’s hard to put into words an experience and activity that far surpassed our expectations (which were high). We are a group of six who came to Naveria Heights Lodge on a tour with iBikes Fiji. We are incredibly grateful to iBikes Fiji for organising such a superb view and combining it with two night in this accommodation. While the driveway may be steep the reward at the top is worth every step. The view is absolutely amazing and the rooms are everything you could dream of for a Fijian holiday. The linen is sublime, the beds are comforfy, there’s a choice of two different pillows, the food is fresh and bountiful, the massage was the best I’d ever had and to top it off Sharon’s hospital was exceptional. She took us on a bike tour that has just the right amount of challenge and her local knowledge and commitment to sustainability is impressive. The perfect stay."
Emaho Sekawa Resort
"Our stay at Emaho Sekawa was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond, taking care of our every need with genuine warmth and attention. Each activity was not only fun but also gave us the chance to learn so much about the local culture, making the experience even more meaningful. The Totoka Villa was beyond words - beautiful, private, and almost too surreal to believe. Waking up each morning to breathtaking views felt like a dream. We started our days with fresh coffee from our in-room coffee maker, followed by a delicious breakfast before heading out on our daily adventures. Afternoons were spent enjoying a relaxing lunch, taking quiet walks to the beach, or simply unwinding at the villa. Evenings ended with wonderful dinners and peaceful, private nights. The meals were all homemade with care and love, with plenty of options to satisfy everyone. One afternoon, we tried the tea service, and it was such a delightful experience - absolutely worth setting aside time for. Emaho Sekawa exceeded every expectation and gave us more than we ever imagined. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to return."
Gecko Lodge Fiji
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in the spacious front room with verandah overlooking the bay. The bed is good, the room clean and the towels and sheets changed whenever requested. The outside common kitchen is basic but convenient. The hosts Jeremy and Ana are very friendly and obliging and Ana can provide a wonderful massage. The walk into town is only about a kilometre and the taxi service recommended by the hosts is very reliable and friendly. We highly recommend Gecko Lodge."
Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua
"The worst part was that they gave me the Wi-Fi password and I was able to access it, but the Wi-Fi was immediately switched off and I was told that it was solar-powered so I could only charge it on sunny days. There was no lock on the room and the air conditioning was just for show and I couldn't use it. There were also extra charges for meals. I don't think I've ever experienced such a terrible accommodation."
Sau Bay Resort & Spa
"We spent the 2025/26 holidays (21 DEC through 8 Jan) at Sau Bay Resort and Spa. We spent a few days here three years ago, but couldn’t get Sau Bay out of our heads. We wanted MORE. And once again, Sau Bay delivered. They’re dive oriented, but with plenty of ‘from the beach’ snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. We don’t dive, but the snorkel trips are amazing. There’s a loop hike to the ‘top of the world’ that is just challenging enough to get the heart rate up, without wearing you out, completely. First rate dining and clean, comfortable bures (bungalows) in an idyllic setting are just another day in Sau Bay. But like everyone else says, it’s the Sau Bay family that really makes this resort shine! They just seem to be truly glad you’re there with them, sharing the Sau Bay experience. The way their faces light-up with every smile is just obviously so genuine, so real. Fijian friendliness is already second-to-none, but take that and distill it to its purest form, and you’ve arrived at Sau Bay."
Ramada Encore - Labasa Damodar City
"Brand new hotel meeting all Western industry standards, the team does its best to be on top of the expectations. My best recommendations!"

The Friendly North Inn
"Initially called hotel to make a booking but was told that no rooms were available. However, I was able to make a booking via Qantas Hotels, so go figure. Booking was for a couple and included breakfast. However room was dirty, only 1 bath towel was provided, there was no remote for the air conditioner and the TV did not work. And to top it all off, in the morning, was told by the rude staff that breakfast was not included. A totally dishonest establishment in Labasa, best avoiding."
Galaxy Hotels & Apartments
Bay View Barbers Lodge
"I would recommend this lodge for a low budget traveller if you want an admin room with all the necessities a stone throw away at the location."
