"The staff were amazing. Incredibly kind, they helped me out a couple of times and are very obliging, especially at reception. The accommodation was spotless, almost too big for us :). The only downside was that the jacuzzi was out of order during our stay, but the heated indoor pool did the trick. We didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfasts are very decent for the price. The terrace offered an incredible view in the morning, especially with a rainbow. Nothing to complain about, I fully recommend this establishment."

"Beautiful buildings and an incredible setting, with unbeatable views out towards Pico. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable and immaculately clean, with friendly and helpful staff. We opted for an ocean view room, which actually meant we had an individual room in its own building just a very short walk from the main building, the main bonus being we had our own veranda and seating with which to enjoy the stunning views. A very good selection of sweet and savoury hot and cold foods for the buffet breakfast, which was regularly replenished. Happy to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Sao Jorge."

"Nicely located well equipped guest house. Our room was comfortable , spacious and with a view of the sea and on clear days, Pico. The common spaces were large and inviting. The kitchen had everything you might need, and fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast if desired, the hist, Diana, was helpful and available, she even did a load of laundry for us for €10. The stunning Ecological trail was nearby as were good restaurants and a mini mart, all within walking distance"

"Absolutely perfect. Beautiful accommodations and peaceful natural surroundings. The restaurant is fantastic and so accommodating. They opened just for my husband and myself for my birthday dinner. We had the fish and a beautiful salad with all fresh ingredients from the island. Order the breakfasts as well!"
