Volcano Forest Inn ★★★
"One bed faces the door, and the other faces a mirror; it's a bit creepy at night. Also, the hotel's entrance is hard to spot at night. There's just a quiet courtyard outside. The location is good, close to the volcano."
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant ★★★
"Love the location, a nice restaurant, good food, large portions but a bit salty."
Chalet Kilauea ★★★★
"The hotel is a jungle hotel, the small environment is better, the birds and flowers are fragrant. The hotel's service is fully self-service, basically no host, so you need to solve it yourself. Check in at 3 o'clock, check out at 11 o'clock, you need to strictly abide by the time. It is very convenient to go to the Volcano Park, about 5 minutes drive into the park."
Volcano Village Lodge ★★★★
"We stayed one night in the Kilauea room. It is a very unique lodging near Volcanoes National Park. The location worked great for us as we had a dinner reservation at The Rim restaurant in the evening and planned to spend most of the next day exploring the park. It is best to arrive in daylight as it could be a bit tricky to find your room in the dark if you don’t know where you are going. Our room was lovely, looking out into the lush greenery it felt like we were in a treehouse. The bed was very comfortable, and if I wasn’t such a light sleeper I would have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. However, it rained all night and the sound on the roof was very loud. We had great communication with the host prior to checking in. Be aware that there is not an employee onsite at all times, but that wasn’t a problem for us. There is a gravel path that you have to walk to from your car to room so it can be challenging if you have large luggage."
Aloha Crater Lodge ★★★
"This is a very unique B&B! It's just a few minutes' drive from the Volcano Park. The environment is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. The frogs croak and the birds chirp, it feels like living in the forest. The bed is big and very comfortable, and I slept very soundly!"
Lokahi Lodge ★★
"It's remote and a bit hard to find at night, so it's best to arrive before dark. There's no reception staff. It's very natural; you can hear insects and birds chirping. The facilities are a bit old, but it's close to the volcano park."
Volcano Village Estates ★★★
"The hotel is located two kilometers away from the Big Island Volcano Park in Hawaii. It is time to go to the Volcano Park to see the eruption. The hotel is very beautiful and actually stays in the tropical rain forest. The price of the three-person suite is very suitable, the room is very cost-effective, but the breakfast is more sloppy, breakfast without tax 15 knives per person, there is a quick-frozen pancake and a little fruit, it is recommended not to book breakfast, others are quite satisfactory."
Lovely Private Home 5 minutes to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park ★★★
Lava Lodge at Hale Kilauea ★★★

Volcano Mist Cottage
"In the dense forest, I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I entered the door, I received a handwritten postcard from the boss and the proprietress. The house is more beautiful and comfortable than I thought. Fireplace, kitchen, sofa in the living room, live live TV volcano, outdoor bathtub, starry sky at night, frogs and insects..... Had an unforgettable birthday! Very lucky, I encountered a volcanic eruption ~"
Volcano Rainforest Retreat
"One of the highlights of our vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii. Peaceful, serene, and truly beautiful, whether you are inside or out. Luxury in the rain forest! A Must Stay."
Volcano Artist Cottage
"We were delighted by the aesthetics and the attention to detail of this delightful little artist's cottage. It was the perfect little quiet hideaway, surrounded by a lovely garden, away from the road, and as restful as it's photos suggest. In the small living area is a comfy chair and kitchen table with two chairs. The window displayed a magnificent purple flowering vine that enchanted us morning and night. There is an art studio and a wonderful organic restaurant on location but the hours of operation are late morning to late afternoon so guests have the place to themselves all morning and all evening. Everything is spotlessly clean, especially the outdoor hot tub under a canopy of stars, which we used every night. The bed is a queen, comfortable, with exquisite cotton sheets and down pillows. The bathroom is spacious and tastefully done. A makeup mirror, blow dryer, and even a cabinet filled with items such as sunscreen are available. I'll go again. It nourished my soul."
