"Doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s very nice. It’s been nicely modernised. The receptionists are ver helpful. The room wasn’t big but it had everything you needed. Nice bath shower. Great air conditioning which in France can vary. Good parking. Small garden and sun terrace. The restaurant is beautiful with the best French food we had on our trip. We had great wine recommendations too. Good location near the lake. We only had one night but could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend."

The breakfast continues to offer a vast choice of food with excellent coffee served in a pot at your table. Staying at Hotel Des Bains feels very grand with its wide huge staircase rising through the centre of the hotel. Always a bonus when parking is on site."

"Three of us stayed in 2 rooms. We will not be back. Our rooms were on the top floor of a very old building. To reach them we had to climb 2 very steep, narrow flight of stairs, I think over 50 steps altogether. It is what it is , something the hotel can do nothing about, but perhaps not really suitable for some travellers. One of out party believed they left a waistcoat in their wardrobe. I emailed them the next day, reporting this, and asking if they had found it. 4 days later I still have not received a replay. Not good at all. And the third reason we are not coming back was the breakfast. ( paid as an extra) Normally we love breakfasts in French hotels. This was the nastiest French breakfast we had ever had . Normally you surrounded by beautiful fresh patisserie making it a difficult choice. Not here, the choice was very very limited, of poor quality and apart from the French banquettes not fresh. The room and its bathroom was actually clean and well maintained. They were also a little larger than you normally get at this price point. It had 3 large double glassed windows overlooking the town square below. The lock had a key, but unlike most hotels room did not auto lock when you shut the door. So you cant lock your self out, but any body can walk in on you, unless you lock it."
