"If I could give more than five stars, I genuinely would. From the moment we arrived at Castello Boutique Resort & Spa, we felt something that is becoming increasingly rare on holiday – complete relaxation. Within minutes, the stresses of everyday life had disappeared, replaced by an overwhelming feeling that we were exactly where we needed to be. The hotel doesn’t just provide accommodation; it creates an atmosphere where you can truly switch off and simply enjoy every moment. The entire team deserves enormous credit. Every single member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth, smiles and enthusiasm throughout our stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every interaction felt sincere rather than rehearsed. Two people, however, deserve a special mention. Epthimios was simply outstanding. His knowledge of wine was exceptional, and every evening he guided us towards the perfect bottle to accompany our meal. His recommendations never missed the mark and genuinely elevated each dining experience. Beyond that, he was incredibly friendly, engaging and somehow always seemed to know exactly how to make every guest feel special. As fellow football fans, our nightly conversations became something we genuinely looked forward to! Jennifer was equally wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and always happy to help with anything we needed, she represents everything great about Greek hospitality. One moment perfectly summed up the attitude of the staff. I asked whether they could make an iced coffee, barista style. They admitted they hadn’t made one before, but rather than simply saying no, they embraced the challenge with smiles and enthusiasm. The result was fantastic, and it perfectly demonstrated the team’s willingness to go above and beyond to make guests happy. It’s that attitude that separates good hotels from exceptional ones. The housekeeping team also deserve huge praise. Our room was immaculate every single day, maintained to an exceptionally high standard, allowing us to return each afternoon to a space that felt fresh, comfortable and inviting. The food throughout our stay was absolutely exceptional. The evening à la carte menu was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish arrived looking like a piece of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Each evening became an experience rather than simply dinner, and it was consistently one of the highlights of our day. Breakfast catered for absolutely everyone. Whether you wanted fresh fruit and cereals, continental options, a full English breakfast or freshly prepared dishes from the à la carte menu, everything was plentiful, fresh and of excellent quality. It was the perfect start to every day. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful and stylish without ever feeling pretentious. It strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, allowing you to completely unwind. We also fell in love with Sissi. What a beautiful village. It offers everything "

"Somewhere between poor and average. Upon arriving at the hotel we were a little taken back by the apartment, it was very small and needs updating, the bathroom is tiny and not suitable for a family, and kitchen facilities very basic! Not able to cook a whole meal. Ok for making a sandwich or possibly boiling noodles... id say that's the extent of it. Wasn't impressed with the room at all and did ask to swap to another apartment but unfortunately we were unable to. I am aware some of the apartments have been renovated but not the one we were staying in. The view from the balcony was lovely though. The pool was nice, a good size with a nice view, cold but refreshing! The area around the pool has so much potential but definitely needs updating and the seating area could be made a lot nicer. Drinks expensive at the bar and food very basic, couldn't have an evening meal here. The breakfast was some toast, ham, cheese and cake, and would have greatly benefited from yoghurt and fruit but these were not available. We skipped breakfast most days as it was too repetitive and no options. Air con was 10euro per night which seemed a lot, but was unfortunately needed with children in August. However, worth a note that the air con is only in the main bedroom so doesn't really help with any extra beds! The area itself was lovely. The hotel is secluded and either a hot 20 minute walk into Sissi or 7euro taxi. Sissi is absolutely beautiful with lots to do, a gorgeous harbour to swim in, restaurants and shops. We did rent a car so we could explore areas further away too which I would say is an absolute must to be honest. We would return to the area for sure, but probably a different hotel."

"Our stay at Angela Suites Boutique was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and you can tell the staff take immense pride in keeping everything to such a high standard. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily, making it feel like a luxury experience throughout our stay. The location is perfect—just a short stroll from some wonderful tavernas, shops, and bars, so everything you need is within easy walking distance while the hotel itself remains peaceful and relaxing. What really makes this hotel exceptional, though, is the staff. Every single member of the team goes above and beyond to make your holiday special. The lovely girls serving breakfast each morning always greeted us with genuine smiles and somehow knew everyone by name, creating such a warm and personal atmosphere. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their kindness made every morning start perfectly. A special mention has to go to Lefty behind the bar. He is an absolute star! His friendly personality, great sense of humour, and incredible mojitos kept us coming back every evening. He’s a real credit to the hotel and made our nights by the pool even more enjoyable. If you’re staying here, you also have to visit Amelia’s Bar—it’s simply perfection and well worth a visit. The hotel’s Thursday barbecue was another highlight. For just €25, it offered an incredible selection of delicious food, with generous portions and plenty of choice. It was excellent value for money and a brilliant evening. Angela Suites Boutique exceeded all our expectations. Between the immaculate hotel, ideal location, fantastic food, and the most attentive, welcoming staff we’ve experienced, it truly deserves every one of its five stars. The team genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make everyone feel valued. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and will be recommending this wonderful hotel to family and friends."

"Recently returned from Koutrakis Suites:- Pros - Great location. Clean room. Spacious balcony. Cons - Being heavily persuaded to join the bingo & BBQ night. Being told not to visit the hotel next door due to a feud. Constantly asking for a tip. Cold shoulder treatment if you were not spending time and money at the hotel bar. No-one to check you out on departure. On the last day we did visit the hotel next door and was thoroughly impressed with the warm welcome, service and quality of the food. Sissi is a beautiful place and we would 💯 return however, sadly not to Koutrakis. Far better places to stay within the resort. "

"If you’re looking for quiet, relaxing accommodation this is the place. Accommodation is typical Greek style, lovely and clean, well equipped facilities for self cantering. Recommend sea view, especially roof top terrace, amazing sunsets. Situated in Sissi with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nearest beach is Boufos approximately 15 mins walk. Need beach shoes. Owner Sophie and her son Lefteris are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend these apartments."

"Just got home from a great 10 days at The Alexandros Hotel Sissi. We had a great stay, nothing is too much trouble, Maria Litsa and Paul are on hand 24/7 to help you if you need anything, always with a smile. What a lovely polite boy Minos is the son of Maria and Paul . The breakfast was as much as you want Buffett with lovely breads and choice of different fruits. The evening meals were simple the best and would never disappoint . Room and beds very comfortable and worth paying for air conditioning . Very short walk from town . My only down was the shower curtains. Plenty of sunbeds and a beautiful kept clean pool, all the staff work above and beyond and so friendly ."
