"The room was clean but the bed/mattress was extremely noisy and creaky, wherever you walked in the room it would creak, we could hear outside, the hallway and above us. Breakfast was shocking, the tv was basic freeview nothing else remote didn’t work great, very outdated. And had to pay to use the WiFi! "

"We ate in Premier Inn restaurants for a buffet breakfast a few times earlier on in our trip at other locations and these weren't too bad but we preferred to go out for food as you can find some really nice local venues. The food was a reasonable quality but the restaurants were a bit grubby. Where the restaurant was in the Premier Inn itself, as opposed to when it was a Beefeater or Table Table, it was better. The hotel's restaurant brand is called 'Thyme' and we ate at the Thyme in the Wadebridge Premier Inn. It had the same food options but a much nicer layout (some carpeted areas, some tiled, with a modern, stylish feel) and decor than the aforementioned Whitbread brands we had tried. Thyme was also a lot cleaner. Whitbread also owns Premier Inn so I recommend they develop this approach at all their hotels."

"Weekend trip to recharge the batteries after a long January. Hotel is situated in great location just a shame we didn’t get a chance to experience the view as we were stuck at the back of the hotel?The hotel didn’t seem busy so wondered why we got a view of the back yard instead of the sea views? The room was very nice, very chic and well furnished with usual facilities just missing a view. We explored Polzeath late afternoon and returned early evening for a meal. We decided on starters and mains. I enjoyed the soup but unfortunately that’s where it ends, my partner’s starter was over salted and only ate half. This was followed by a pork dish and pasta dish which were both overly salted. We only managed a few mouthfuls before giving up! It was mentioned at bill payment by my partner but nothing was done? Drinks were ok, they have their own brewery lagers available with a few regular ones too! Wine was a bit pricey too. Polzeath in general is a great location to visit in North Cornwall"

"I stayed at Spring gardens for 3 days. Beautiful property and my room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Everything was provided to make my stay relaxing. Jenny's breakfast is amazing and great value and she is such a friendly host. Her and her husband made me feel very welcome to their home. Thank you. I would certainly visit again."
