"We had a beautiful holiday in Austria and were excited around! The rooms were great, clean and cozy, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and hearty. The food was clearly worth 5 stars for us! It was always cooked fresh and it was really something for everyone. Even the All-inclusive offer has not left any wishes – it was just everything in it and you could enjoy the holiday completely relaxed. It was particularly nice that so much was offered for the children too and there were enough opportunities to relax. The atmosphere in the entire hotel was just great – all were friendly, well run and you immediately felt well. We would come back at any time and can only recommend this holiday! "Our experience at Appartements Schattauer was fantastic. We traveled from the United States as a family of 11 (all adults) and our stay was exceptional. We rented 2 of the 3 bedroom appartements and had more than enough room to congregate while also enjoying privacy to sleep and get ready. Roland, his wife and staff were patient and understanding as we navigated our surroundings and tried to learn the culture. Their recommendations on places to eat, shop, ski and sight see were spot on. Several members of our group enjoyed skiing. Wagrain itself was lovely and we were able to walk everywhere within the town. If you are looking to relax and enjoy your vacation I highly encourage you to stay at this establishment."

"1st time we heard of this area on Crystal Ski and we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel is perfect for access to the gondola, over the road, and to local shops. A modern style hotel with all the amenities you could possibly want. 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, the roof infinity pool being adults only. All areas are clean and well kept. Our room, with a small balcony, overlooked to gondola and the bottom red runs. The room is quiet, clean and very comfortable. Alas no kettle in the room. The shower room is large with a separated toilet, again very clean and tidy. The food all week was beautiful and professionally served each evenings except on buffet night. Loads to choose at breakfast. Afternoon light buffet every day between 3 & 5pm. Good quality drinks served at reasonable prices. The hotel was full to capacity during our stay, yet all staff are friendly and well presented. We will be staying here again as it's perfect to get around the Ski Amade area."
