"Perfect for a stay right in the heart of the old town! Very nice hotel. Historic. Beautiful old building. Location is incredible, especially to attend the Christmas Market right out the front door. Restaurants, bars and shopping literally around the corner. Check in was easy and friendly. Staff were very kind. Lounge is comfy. We used Bonvoy points so I can’t comment on pricing. Car park on site for 22€ for overnight. Our room was 114. Upgraded due to being a Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium Elite member. Breakfast was included. Room was luxurious. Nice robes and linens. Extremely quiet. Garden view. Balcony off our room but it was cold and rainy so we couldn’t use."

"I was able to stay here for about $100, breakfast included. The room was very clean, although perhaps somewhat dated in style. There is still a little bit of the East German styling leftover here. But I was very pleased with the room and even more pleased with the breakfast. The food was fresh and a wide variety of traditional German breakfast foods was offered. The staff at the front desk and the dining room were kind and attentive. Overall, it was a great stay and an even better value!"

"We stayed for 3 nights and it is a good hotel in a good location. We had planned to stay at a different hotel in Weimar but left after finding the room had bugs. The Elefant was slightly more expensive but the jr suite was very comfortable. The bed was very comfy and they have foam cervical pillows that were great for us. Er slept well. Breakfast was good with many choices, decent coffee and fresh orange juice. You could have made to order eggs as well. The front desk staff - some were good, some seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. The hotel location is great easy enough to drive or take public transport. We enjoyed our stay in Weimar and would recommend the Elefant above the other hotels. Restaurant staff for breakfast was friendly and always seem available to help Thank you. You made our trip to Weimar work well for us when it could have been a disaster. Ok"

"The hotel itself and the staff are excellent. Everything is clean, the staff are very friendly, and the service is efficient and efficient, with no waiting times. The food is reasonably priced, the portions (too) large, and it tastes good, but it doesn't quite match the fine dining of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Unfortunately, the hotel's underground parking garage was already full, so I had to park my car in the public parking lot near the post office (250 meters by car, a good 50 meters on foot), but that's also no problem."

"As a frequent traveller, I have stayed in numerous hotels around the world and have experienced a wide range of service standards. Unfortunately, this property does not meet the level of quality I would expect from a four-star hotel, either in terms of service or accommodation. Upon arrival, I was allocated a room that was not properly maintained, with a hole in the wall and visibly unclean bedding, which was extremely disappointing. In addition, the hotel's website advertises a 24-hour service; however, in practice, services appear to be available only until 11:00 p.m. Guests are also required to notify the hotel in advance of their breakfast time, which was not clearly communicated prior to arrival. Overall, the experience did not reflect the standards or expectations associated with a four-star property."
