Brilliant Full English friendly people running the cafe. You don’t have to be staying at the hotel to pop in for something to eat. Will defo pop back next year :)"

"We have just stayed at this Hotel for 3 days and it was a terrible disappointment. We booked through *********** and read the facilities on offer, and this hotel doesn’t really offer anything apart from a lovely restaurant. You book a Spa hotel which is quite expensive then they expect you to pay €20 pp per day to use the ‘Spa’ The spa consists of a small pool, jacuzzi , sauna and steam room. There is nowhere to sit or beds to relax on so you would struggle to spend an hour in there. There is no Concierge service so we had to drag our heavy suitcase down the road and lots of stairs. There was no offer of any help. The rooms seem lovely but lack any normal facilities that a 4 star hotel should offer. There was a kettle in the room but no cups or spoons, apart from the normal shampoo and shower gel there were on other nice touches that you would expect. The pool outside looks very appealing on the photos but the area is badly maintained. It rained for 3 mornings whilst we were there and the beds and cushions were left outside so soaking wet for the rest of the day. There is nowhere to get a drink by the pool and no bar area. The breakfast is nice but the service was terrible. We were never approached by staff to ask if we would like any hot food or drinks but instead had to constantly ask to be served. The hotel has been well photographed and is very well staged on Social Media but this isn’t a true reflection of the hotel. Such a shame as it could be amazing but we were glad to leave."

"Fabulous hotel in a wonderfully authentic location. It’s not a typical tourist spot, which is exactly part of its charm. The pool is great, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The only slight improvement would be to rethink the lobby area to create a more natural flow."

"What an amazing gem of a hotel. Right in the heart of the old town. We stayed 3 nights in the garden room. Great air conditioning. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Restaurants on the doorstep. Tapas and wine bars. Walk to the port we did every day and was around 20minutes. Owner organised our transfer from airport and return, couldn’t be more helpful. Service in the bar excellent, Niko the barman again friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning."

"I was just wanted to spend a nice afternoon working a bit, nice atmosphere, eat and drink something inside. One table busy, the rest free. I have politely asked if I could also be on my pc, while having my meal there. I was refused !!!!!!! Because maybe someone from the hotel guests will be willing to spend tine at my table...... I was shocked :There was nobody , except one table inside with me and nobody on the outside. Crazy .I have even suggested that I will let my table free if someone from hotel will asks for it......still NO!!!!! Ridiculous !!!!!!"
