"I booked an executive standard room, which is nearly 100 yuan cheaper than a regular standard room. I expected a significant difference in quality, but I was surprised to receive a room that was no different from the standard room I booked. According to the hotel's guidelines, executive rooms are on floors 17 and above, but our first and second rooms were on floors 6-10, clearly not up to the executive standard. The first room was even a converted triple room; the headboard was still there. This is utterly ridiculous for a well-known local hotel. The front desk still insisted that this was their standard executive room. The room they later changed to was supposedly an upgrade. According to OTA pricing, a deluxe room would only cost around 180 yuan. Furthermore, the slippers, toothbrushes, etc., were of very poor quality, and the pillows were the hardest I've ever stayed in. Future guests staying in Xiangfen should take note. These are my honest experiences."
