"This hotel boasts a great location right by the lake. As soon as you enter the lobby, you're greeted with stunning lake and mountain views. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Baojing Palace scenic area, which offers activities like exploring a grotto, via ferrata, a glass bridge, and boating. The hotel itself has several swimming pools – an infinity pool, a kids' splash pool, and a quiet pool for serious swimmers. There's also a private hot spring area and a Biliu Cave. You could easily spend three days here without even leaving the hotel, and you can rent an electric scooter to get around. My kids absolutely loved it. The room size and facilities were also good. On the downside, it was quite damp and stuffy, likely due to its location between the lake and the mountains. The cleaning staff even used a wet mop, leaving the floor very wet when we first entered. There was also standing water on the path to the pool that wasn't promptly cleaned, and an elderly person in our group fell and had to see a doctor when we got home. The service was also quite rough around the edges. Early in the morning, before we were even awake, a cleaning lady knocked on our door – not with the doorbell, but with her hand – insisting on asking when she could clean the room. After we complained, she didn't show up for the next two days. In summary, it's a hotel with a great location and good facilities, but the service quality is just average."

The infinity pool offered a top-notch view with crystal-clear water; the sunset glow there was so beautiful, I didn't want to leave. The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious, and they even included tickets to a tea garden and a mountain 'Kala Kala' camp. All my friends said they want to come back again!"

"Hygiene: Woke up in the morning to find two large cockroaches in the room and bathroom. Environment: The environment was average. Service: Issues were handled proactively. Facilities: The decor is very old and poorly maintained, so lower your expectations. Luckily, having lived in Guangdong, I'm used to 'little strong ones' (cockroaches); someone who isn't would be shocked 😮. There weren't many food options at the nearby street stalls (mostly chicken), so I drove to the city for dinner. When I returned, my designated parking spot was taken by a car from the building next door (leaving me nowhere to park). It took an hour for the hotel to resolve the issue. It turned out the neighbor took my spot because someone opposite *their* spot took theirs, and a car from the 2nd floor took the 1st floor's spot – a whole chain of occupied spots. Besides some tourists who didn't follow hotel parking instructions and parked wherever they pleased (lack of etiquette), I also believe there's a management deficiency from the hotel. As for breakfast, if you're not very hungry, it's best to skip it; there's genuinely nothing worth eating."

The room was spacious and bright, the smart home system was very handy, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well-executed. The toiletries also had a very sophisticated scent. Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this place guarantees a high-standard stay and is definitely worth experiencing."

"First, the bathroom lock was broken. Then, there was a pile of clean sheets and blankets outside the door. I booked this room because it had a mahjong table, which would be convenient for a family to play mahjong together. However, when I asked the front desk for the mahjong table's power cord, they wanted an extra 100 yuan! This is unheard of! Of all the hotels and apartments I've booked, this is the first one to charge me this fee. The mahjong table was already in the room, but no power cord was provided; they wanted 100 yuan for it!! And there was no mention of the extra charge when I booked the room. I'm warning other hotel guests. I will report this to 12345 (the customer service hotline) about why the price wasn't listed and why there was an extra charge!"

"This guesthouse boasts an amazing location and design! Nestled amidst a bamboo forest, the environment is peaceful, the air is fresh, and it's incredibly comfortable. Plus, it's super pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our little furry friends along! We booked a sunrise-view courtyard for 4 nights, but sadly, we overslept every morning and missed the beautiful sunrise! The courtyard is built along the riverside, offering stunning mountain views from the small balcony. You can also go fishing or watch other guests kayaking (a complimentary activity provided by the guesthouse), so there's plenty to do! The guesthouse is also very close to nearby attractions. We visited Dongtian Fairyland and Tuofengshan Inn, and even enjoyed an exhilarating and thrilling rafting experience! The guesthouse's herbal chicken pot was absolutely delicious, even better than those at local farmhouses! The housekeeper was very warm and the service was thoughtful. When we checked out, they even gave us fresh bamboo shoots (sweet and tender) and Yingde's famous Yinghong No. 9 tea as a parting gift. We left with our hands full!"
