However, for my taste, the videoscreen in the breakfast room clashes badly with the atmosphere of the place. Breakfast is very good, but slightly expensive. If one can do with a croissant and a cafe, then "Bar L'Europe" next door is a good option to see and be seen, and their staff is great, too."

"3 days in Abbaye for a wedding. The party was beautiful and the enchanting site. Dinner of all beauty for dinner and the party. Only bemol, it is acoustic: according to the place, some heard well and others did not understand a word. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful, and the lights were automatically lighted in the hall only in the upper part, and therefore not upwards. The hotel is a small bathroom in the Cure to enjoy everything."

In the rooms there are old gramophones from the 70s and records from this period. An indescribable experience. But if you are looking for a TV, forget it. That is the biggest advantage."

"We originally booked in here for one night but ended up staying for three! This is a lovely and welcoming home. The parking is totally secure but as you're in the middle of the countryside you don't need to worry about it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and large, we particularly liked the balcony room. The owners are the most charming people and I do recommend having dinner with them as it is not just good cooking but truly hilarious company. They own a little restaurant in Auxerre which is well priced and worth a visit. We really loved our stay and hopefully will be back."

"It's very relaxing, calm and nicely put together. A tiny ten bedroom hotel with a lovely pool and a little restaurant besides the pool , where the chef cooks for you- no choice - but delicious food. You can sit in the kitchen itself as he prepares your meal! Breakfast on one day was wonderful with lots of fresh fruit, the next not so good- they had run out of everything and said they would go shopping after breakfast! One caution- some rooms - not all- have the bathroom in the bedroom and that includes the loo! most odd"

This young woman, despite all the difficulties that presented herself to her, showed great professionalism by keeping calm and giving a lot to make the stay pleasant. Imagine: reception, receiving customers, handling telephone calls, preparing dishes with what was available in the kitchens "without a cook", serving dishes, cleaning, securing the premises and checking the rooms, laundry broken down and back and forth ne city, in addition to everything else to do, so that customers can have at their disposal the minimum amount of clean towels, adequate for their stay. Dealing with the annoyance of certain customers while remaining attentive to them, etc. Really, bravo Madam for your courage, your calm and your perseverance, because we must admit, you have strong nerves.
