"The owner was sullen the entire time and lacked a sense of service. I wonder how this place can stay open. Breakfast was only served when everyone arrived. There's no elevator, so large luggage couldn't be taken upstairs. I tried to leave it on the ground floor, but was flatly refused, with no other options. The room smelled, and there was a window that served as a fire escape that wouldn't open. There was no air conditioning, and the room was stuffy. This isn't a chain hotel; it's just a farm stay. Don't be fooled."

"All staff were friendly and attentive from the time we checked in, to time of our departure. The Hotel was clean, the room was rreasonably well appointed (not enough tea-bags [3 only] no glasses for drinking water/tooth-brush) and the Spa facilities were great; here the staff excelled themselves and were very helpful and obliging. Unfortunately we couldn't get a dinner reserved for the time we needed, but that was the only thing that could be remotely viewed as negative. We will certainly stay at The Kinmel manor again."
