"It is a good one - however unlike its branch in Egypt, they didnt had shower cap, slippers, bathrub and other stuff in rooms. The staff and their service was really good. The buffet as well wasnt full of vareities as in egypt (no doughnut stand). It was an hour away from sight seeings. Beautiful lounge and bar area"
"Very distinctive British country hotel, each house is very clean, fully equipped, and the floor heating is opened in May, so although it is on the first floor, it is very dry. Especially at night, it is very quiet, the yard is full of flowers and trees, and the yard is outside the vast pasture. You can see the vast starry sky when you look up. The experience is great! The hotel is basically unattended. Everyone's room number has been informed by email. When we check in, we enter the room and check out to the front desk to turn the key. There is a British girl at breakfast to help us make some simple breakfast and experience the British rural family life. It’s only half an hour’s drive to Oxford, and friends who have a car can experience it here."
Getting the most out of days out in Oxfordshire is easy when you stay at our Premier Inn Abingdon hotel. We’re a great base for exploring some of the best outdoor attractions in Abingdon, including Albert Park, Abbey Meadows and scenic Radley Lakes. If you don’t mind venturing out, you’ll be treated to some unforgettable scenery at the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty too. The historic city of Oxford is just a 15-minute drive away from our Abingdon hotel, ideal if you fancy bargain-hunting at Westgate Oxford or taking a tour of Oxford Castle. Take your pick from a range of tasty dishes at our Thyme restaurant in the evening before heading back to your room and relaxing on a super-comfy bed.
"Around 30 minutes by car away from Oxford city area via motorway. Offered free parking in front of the hotel. Suitable for who is traveling by cars.
Add on 10 pounds for the breakfast. Variety is limited yet good enough to start a day with it.
Room itself is wide and clean, just Marriott standards so need need to worry."
"This store is relatively biased and it is not convenient to have no car. The landlord is Chinese. The room is a local characteristic thatched house 🛖, which is said to be protected by law and not allowed to be rebuilt. The service is very good, there is something to find the front desk to basically solve. Nice experience"
Located in Abingdon, Dog House by Chef and Brewer Collection is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Frilford Heath Golf Club and Millets Farm Centre. This inn is 10.4 mi (16.8 km) from University of Oxford and 14.4 mi (23.1 km) from Blenheim Palace.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access and tour/ticket assistance.
Grab a bite at Oak Beamed Restaurant, a restaurant which features a bar/lounge and a garden view. You can also stay in and take advantage of the room service (during limited hours).
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 20 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include phones, as well as coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards.
"Fabulous staff, couldn't be more helpful. Food is wonderful, service great.
Down side is the parking! Sat Nav takes you to the front of the hotel, car park is at the back which is hard to find. The hotel has no instructions on anything, complicated system on getting the lights etc to work. Air con is great but again, no instructions. A simple fix would be to have a folder on how to make things work!
No lifts which for someone with mobility problems is a huge issue."
"Lovely grounds, nice leisure facilities
Pleasant food, reasonably priced
Great deals on offer from time to time so can be good value for money."
