"If you're traveling to Abu Simbel, I highly recommend staying at this hotel! The rooms are clean, with beds, sinks, toilets, and showers all in pristine condition, and they're equipped with air conditioning and hairdryers for a comfortable stay. The owner and his son are incredibly kind, and they'll entertain you with Nubian folk music, creating wonderful travel memories. Although it's a relatively new hotel, having opened in 2026, you can stay there with complete peace of mind. Breakfast is served at your specified time, featuring freshly prepared Egyptian (traditional Nubian) cuisine, and everything is delicious. Fruit and bottled water are provided free of charge throughout the day. I recommend the traditional Nubian ginger coffee! The Abu Simbel temples are about a 15-minute walk away. It's easily accessible on foot, so no problem there. They can also help you arrange tickets for the nighttime sound and light show at the temples (I was very grateful for this as I had trouble buying them online). Furthermore, they can recommend drivers at reasonable prices, so if you have any transportation needs, feel free to ask the hotel for assistance. I had them arrange my car transfer from Abu Simbel to Aswan. I definitely want to stay here again when I visit Abu Simbel!"

"Hllol Hotel is a very atmospheric hotel close to the great tempels of Abu Simbel. The dinner with fresh fish in different variations was very delicious and served in a pleasant atmosphere under the open sky. The rooms are spacious and clean and equipped with air conditioning and a fan, among other things. The staff is courteous and friendly. The very friendly owner gave us a warm welcome. All around a place to feel at leisure."

"Located in Abu Simbel, the hotel is easily accessible by car, with parking available in front. The owner mentioned two security cameras monitoring the area, but when we left the next day, we discovered the car was almost completely emptied of gasoline… This was the only theft incident during our entire Egypt trip… The hotel was a bit old, but the staff were very friendly. Their English wasn't great, but you could use a translation app to communicate in Arabic. The rooms were small but clean, and the breakfast was simple. Aside from the gasoline theft, the overall experience was quite good. It's worth considering if you're staying overnight in Abu Simbel, although the price was outrageous, close to 500 RMB, perhaps due to the Sun Festival…"
