No. 15 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Canton of Bern"Ctrip’s housekeeper helped me apply for a panoramic room with a balcony. The view was amazing. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and drink coffee while watching the scenery. There were many stars at night. The breakfast was rich and of good quality. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and bottled water and soda were provided. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic. You can ask for a tourist card when you arrive at the store, and you can get a discount on the cable car. There is a free indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, and there are massage bubbles outdoors. You can order drinks and take photos during certain hours. Swimsuits are not allowed in the sauna area, and men and women are mixed. The fitness area is open 24 hours a day and provides drinks and snacks. The hotel parking lot is 20 Swiss francs/day, and you can also park in the public parking lot next to it, 16 Swiss francs/24 hours. The city tax is 4.1 Swiss francs/person. Ctrip.com has a good price and a good check-in experience. Thank you Ctrip."

"sehr gute Lage. Anreise/Check-in mühsam. Personalkosten werden an den Gast augelagert, welcher offenbar ein Mitarbeiter des Hotels ist. unnötige Abfrage der Personaldaten des 2. Gastes, wozu? Autolift dauert sehr lange, Schlangenbildung am Abreisetag. Frühstück unterirdisch: zu wenig (sehr bemühtes und freundliches) Personal, Buffett chronisch leer, ”Rührei-Maschine” eine ausgesprochen dumme Idee (ineffizient, kompliziert, unhygienisch. Gast soll auch hier mitarbeiten, die Maschine nach Gebrauch reinigen mit einem nassen Lappen, der daneben liegt...). Thermoskanne mit Kaffee in Frühstück inklusive, alle anderen Kaffees müssen an der Bar gekauft werden. So günstig ist das Hotel dann auch nicht, dass man das auf sich nehmen will. Zimmer sauber und zweckmässig, das passt."

Garden sitting area by the house. The bus station is 50m away, with the bus you can go to the village or to the gondola station. The Chuenisbärgli can be reached with a short walk/5min. With the ski/snowboard you drive directly to your front door. In summer you start your bike tours and hikes directly at the house, also the via ferrata on the Engstligenalp along the waterfall can be reached by local bus, or with your car. The bakery is 50m away. In the apartment you enjoy an excellent view of the beautiful mountains.
