Stamos Hotel ★★★

"Absolutely wonderful holiday we have just got back from a 2 week break at hotel Stamos. Rooms were large and modern, bed very comfortable. We had a family room with an absolutely fantastic view. Hotel is well placed being a short walk to the lively afitos centre with plenty of food choices. Food at the hotel is delicious and reasonably priced, drinks also not expensive. 4 euros for a large. Pool good size with plenty of sunbeds, we never had a problem getting one. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection, nice coffee. Being a small hotel to me is more of a friendly feel and guests were happy to chat! There's a great book stand where you can pop your old ones and collect new. Lovely kitchen area with decent size fridge with small freezer, sink and kettle with some cutlery, plates etc. Great storage in the bedrooms and decent size balcony with clothes dryer Only downfalls for us, our room (or specifically the childrens) was very cold when the air con was on but just right in the master. There were blankets on the wardrobe though which they slept under. Also a few missing tiles in the pool, put daughter did cut her toe on the first day down at the shallow end. Nevertheless I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and hoping to book again."

Casa Afytos - Adults Only ★★★

"WE echo all the good remarks posted by others. First time we had done a package holiday for thirty years but EasyJet were fine. Casa Afitos is a gem of a find, just the right distance from the village. The rooms are fine if slightly quirky, cleaned every day and towels changed. Beakfast is continental but good. It is like an oasis, calm and quiet. Pool is good, and as mentioned Iffy and the staff are brilliant, can't do enough for you. Afitos is a lovely little village, and we definitely made the right choice of accommodation. Would go back again which must be the ultimate criteria for any stay."

"10/10!An Absolutely Exceptional Stay! We had a truly perfect stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and deserving of a 10/10. We were also incredibly lucky to be upgraded for the final two nights of our stay, which was such a wonderful surprise and made our experience even more special. We were extremely grateful for this thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself feels like a beautiful oasis, with tranquil ponds filled with colourful koi fish and a stunning family of peacocks wandering around the gorgeous garden grounds. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and create such a peaceful and magical atmosphere. A very special thank you to the hotel manager, Lilia, and Christina, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality really stood out. That said, all of the staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone made us feel valued and genuinely well looked after throughout our stay. From the exceptional food and outstanding hospitality to the beautiful gardens, koi ponds, magnificent peacocks, and the unexpected upgrade, this hotel truly is something special. A well-deserved 10/10, we would happily return and highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay."

"I cannot say enough positives about this hotel. We stayed on a b&b basis for one week in late August. We had a very large room with a good size balcony and plenty of space in the room including a safe and mini bar/fridge. Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold foods in a nice light airy setting. The pool area was particularly amazing as some days we had the place pratically to ourselves. Sunbeds were nice and comfortable too and you never had to scramble for one even if you been out for the day. 10 minute walk into the local village which is beautiful and has a gret selection of bars, restaurants, tourist shops, boutiques and a couple of mini-marts. Never had a bad meal in the whole place. The beach is a bit further away down quite a steep slope but we we are pool people anyway so that didn't bother us. We also did a day trip into Thessaloniki with Jet2 Holidays and that was really interesting with plenty to see and do. Pool area was looked after very well by the staff who worked hard throughout the whole day looking after their guests. Would thoroughly recommend this place - wish I was there now !"

"We visited Stratos again this year but decided to stay for 18 nights and had a lovely time . We have visited many times as a couple and with family. We are always welcomed back by Anastasia ,Stella, and their lovely mum. All the staff are friendly and helpful the rooms are cleaned daily by the hard working cleaning team and nothing is too much trouble . And the standard of cleanliness was still high throughout the immense heat and storm we had while we were there . The hotel is nice and chilled around the pool, and breakfast has a good choice to cater for all. We love our visits to Stratos and will be returning in September with family. Once again, thank you to all the team . See you in a few weeks 🥰🥰 "

"The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the village with its vast variety of restaurants and bars. Once we checked in ,our luggage was taken to our room and we were shown the bar where we were given complimentary glass of fizz.(a very nice touch) The room had a large balcony with amazing views. There was a large comfortable bed, fridge,kettle,iron and ironing board. The only downside with the room was the bathroom and it's unusual layout with the hand basin in the bedroom and shower and toilet in the bathroom, which was quite dark. The young staff very amazing very friendly ,chatty and professional. The pool area was kept very clean and there was never a problem getting a bed no matter how late we went down. Breakfasts were excellent with an extensive choice, the breakfast room was light and airy, again with fantastic views. Although we were B&B we did use the hotel restaurant a couple of times for lunch and dinner. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"2 weeks in Afytos as guests at this residence. Place is welcoming. Location strategic, near to the beach and also the center. Clean flat, even though bathroom was not large enough and burners of kitchen not modern (too slow to warm up). Nice swimming pool. Staff very gente. A good stay as a whole."
