"Great place to stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a very good breakfast. It was also really convenient since my relatives live nearby, so it was easy to get to their place. During my visit, I also took trips to Trentova and Vanullo for the mozzarella — both were wonderful experiences. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back!"

"We stayed 3 nights recently with 4 other couples, the hotel was booked by a mate so we did not know what to expect. Wow. Think boutique hotel, perhaps 10 or 12 lovely rooms with a car park below and then a stunning pool above and a lift to help the weary. Service is fantastic and even the hotel cat is super cool and friendly!!! Prices great, rooms lovely, pool wonderful and service top what more could you ask??? And the location is also really good so very close to Paestum and the city of Agropoli, stunning places full of history."

"The apartment is situated on the east side of Agropoli, being an easy walk into the town centre. There is a locked , private, off road car parking area. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and has ben well renovated. There is a fridge & 2 hot plates. A light breakfast is served to the room, which you can eat on the outside balcony. The hostess is very helpful & friendly. It is situated in a quiet area."

"The hotel was a great hotel with a view of the sea that leaves without words and gives a really unforgettable sunset. The room was comfortable, one of the most beautiful moments of the stay was certainly relaxing in the hydromassage on the terrace of which you admired the panorama: an experience that is worth the trip alone. I would like to thank Simona for the reception and the director, who have been very professional and courtesy, and have been very welcome and followed up since our arrival. Always available to provide useful advice, suggestions to live the best of your stay and ready to solve any minimum need or problems in a timely manner. The next day we reached the beach with easy and spent a beautiful sea day, completing a stay in the sign of relaxation and wellness. I strongly advise this structure to those who want to give a few days of tranquility. One little sin is the little variety of food at lunch. We're not looking forward to return! Carmen & Marcello"

"Villa located just a few steps from the historic center and a few meters from the sea. Owners are good people. Accommodation and service SUPER.... Beautiful villa with all the comforts. "This location in acropolis was very hard to get to since the streets are very small. I don’t advise bringing a car. It’s impossible to get by anywhere. The atmosphere in the place was OK. The view from the balcony was great with a view of the sea, which was magnificent. However , the room was very small. Resembled a college dormitory room. Trust me it’s no frills! We were given a shower towel each as well as a hand towel, but no washcloths. The breakfast was OK; typical Italian, breakfast , croissant, juice and coffee. There was supposed to be a menu but unfortunately we couldn’t access it. We ended up getting the same thing for three days in a row. I would’ve liked to have a choice as well as more than one cup of coffee. There was a coffee maker in the room and instant coffee. The steps!!! If you’re not in good shape, don’t go there! It’s 52 steps to go down into the unit and then 3 flights of stairs. It’s a lot of bending and very tough if you have heavy bags with you. I gave it only a 2. I think the owner really needs to improve a few things like leaving people washcloths, more than two rolls of toilet paper, as well as a breakfast menu that a person can access. Personally, it’s a very nice place but I think he’s trying to get away on the cheap. If you like primitive, you come here if you don’t go further north into Salerno. My honest opinion I’d never go back. Neither would my husband."

"Let me tell you about our new best friend Adriana. She’s the proprietress at the B & B Baia di Trentova, the lovely hillside retreat in Agropoli where our family spent 4 days. When we first heard of her family-run inn many months before our trip, we reached out to learn what kinds of activities we might find to do there. From the very beginning Adriana was completely engaged in making our family reunion everything we hoped it could be. After our arrival her personal engagement with us only increased — she took us on a tour to a buffalo mozzarella farm and a local fig producer, arranged for a boat excursion, a wine tasting and a trip to the Paestum ruins. She fed us, entertained us, and introduced us to her world as she inquired about ours. The B & B is spacious and comfortable, with a view deck that takes in the beautiful bay and picturesque countryside of Cilento. It’s truly a family affair, with Adriana’s husband Oreste, his brother Domenico, mother-in-law Nonna Maria and even the kids Alissa and Andrea all taking part in the hospitality. Speaking of Nonna Maria — the B & B also offers a chef-inspired dinner menu many evenings at their restaurant (Osteria Ubbipo), centered around Nonna’s interpretations of whatever is fresh and locally available, realized along with contributions from other family members. One evening we dined on tasty and inventive dishes created out of what we had picked out that morning at the local farmer’s market. (Needless to say, their expertise in the kitchen also finds expression in each day’s delicious and filling breakfast.) The B & B also offers cooking classes with Nonna and we’re told that they are also offering Italian language classes as part of their guests’ optional activities. But aside from the great food and great accomodations, what we’ll remember most about our stay at B & B Baia di Trentova is the feeling of welcome we received from Adriana and her family — a family we felt a part of within just a few hours of arriving. Whether or not we’ll ever make it back to that part of the world is uncertain, but we’ll always know that we have a friend there."

"This place is truly amazing! Our family of 6 took a 3 week trip to Italy across various islands and cities. Le Querce Farmhouse was THE BEST place that we stayed at. From the cleanliness, friendliness of the owners and staff, amenities, and FOOD, everything was spectacular. If you are looking for a quiet place that isn't too far away from many different places, this is it. Just make sure you eat dinner there every night, you won't be disappointed. "La Frescura del Principe was one of the best stays I have had in all of Italy. A short drive from Salerno and close to a few beautiful unique ocean side towns such as Agropoli. Everything was so perfect at this property. The ideal stay for couples. Cilento region is so magnificent. The owners and management were so wonderful to deal with, and treated us so well. What we loved the most besides the incredible views, delicious fresh local Italian style breakfast, beautiful comfortable renovated well kept rooms, and gorgeous pool, landscaping and gardens, was that at every point of our stay, we truly felt like we were at home. This property at any point of our stay never felt busy nor crowded. It was very quiet and peaceful and the rooms are well insulated and sound proofed. Everything is so well thought out. We got a great rest here. It felt like we were staying at our own luxurious comfortable home, and everything was taken care of. This is truly a quaint Villa resort style Bed and breakfast property that feels as comfortable as home. Beds were great, furniture was beautiful and rooms were well decorated. Washrooms were very comfortable and luxurious. Water pressure was great and showers were always hot. We loved this property so much that we can't wait to go back. Next time for a longer stay. Definitely rent a car! Agropoli, Paestum, and other local towns were a short drive away to have access to all the beautiful restaurants, bars, beaches and night life. Live like the locals do. It was the least tourist feeling place we have ever been to in all of Italy. Did I mention how beautiful the views are and how nice and relaxing the outdoor pool is?
