"Great place to stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a very good breakfast. It was also really convenient since my relatives live nearby, so it was easy to get to their place. During my visit, I also took trips to Trentova and Vanullo for the mozzarella — both were wonderful experiences. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back!"

Think boutique hotel, perhaps 10 or 12 lovely rooms with a car park below and then a stunning pool above and a lift to help the weary. Service is fantastic and even the hotel cat is super cool and friendly!!! Prices great, rooms lovely, pool wonderful and service top what more could you ask??? And the location is also really good so very close to Paestum and the city of Agropoli, stunning places full of history."

Be aware if you have heavy luggage that there are 59 steps down from street level to the entrance and then 22 steps once inside, no lift or assistance offered. We knew in advance so managed around it and enjoyed our stay!"

Even before our trip I knew we had chosen well, but once we arrived, the warmth, generosity and authentic hospitality exceeded even what we had hoped for Adriana is a delight, her sense of humour and passion for their business is delightful. "La Frescura del Principe was one of the best stays I have had in all of Italy. A short drive from Salerno and close to a few beautiful unique ocean side towns such as Agropoli. Everything was so perfect at this property. The ideal stay for couples. Cilento region is so magnificent. The owners and management were so wonderful to deal with, and treated us so well. What we loved the most besides the incredible views, delicious fresh local Italian style breakfast, beautiful comfortable renovated well kept rooms, and gorgeous pool, landscaping and gardens, was that at every point of our stay, we truly felt like we were at home. This property at any point of our stay never felt busy nor crowded. It was very quiet and peaceful and the rooms are well insulated and sound proofed. Everything is so well thought out. We got a great rest here. It felt like we were staying at our own luxurious comfortable home, and everything was taken care of. This is truly a quaint Villa resort style Bed and breakfast property that feels as comfortable as home. Beds were great, furniture was beautiful and rooms were well decorated. Washrooms were very comfortable and luxurious. Water pressure was great and showers were always hot. We loved this property so much that we can't wait to go back. Next time for a longer stay. Definitely rent a car! Agropoli, Paestum, and other local towns were a short drive away to have access to all the beautiful restaurants, bars, beaches and night life. Live like the locals do. It was the least tourist feeling place we have ever been to in all of Italy. Did I mention how beautiful the views are and how nice and relaxing the outdoor pool is? Thank you again to the wonderful owners of this property, Gaetano and Giusy, for such a wonderful relaxing perfect stay. You come to this Villa as guests, and leave as family. "Stayed here for a week with our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Maria was a very gracious host and friendly. The house is made up of 5/6 apartments and it is spotlessly clean everywhere. Everything is very well maintained. The pool and gardens are sufficient for the amount of apartments. You will need a car as it is a few km away from the town. There is a good supermarket and Lidl nearby and a lovely strip of restaurants in Agropoli North. Overall. we would recommend. We do not speak Italian, it would be good to have a few words or at least Google Translate for Agropoli as it is mainly catering to Italian visitors."

"I would like to endorse this B&B. Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Good value for money. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days the last two weeks of May 2026 and all the way from start we where met with help and friendliness. We arrived so late as somewhat past midnight - Marius was waiting for us outside to guide us to the private parking (if the private parking would have been full there is just plenty of space just outside). They stayed up for us just for that. Unfortunately the beach just outside 100 Passi dal Mare was under cleaning during our stay, but I am sure when it is cleaned this place is just fantastic. A bit outside of the fuzz and buzz (noise lever on lower side) but in really nice walking distance from Centrum and Marina and the fabulous castle. We had the DeLuxe room and it was very nice with its seating area, proper elbow room for a longer stay. Sea views from every room I recon. Overall, easygoing atmosphere. As B&B, really good."

"I don't want to tell you how good this place is because I want it to remain a secret for us! Joking aside, we stayed in the family room at the top and had the best time. The hosts are wonderful, and the location is a dream, lots of interesting things to see and local people to meet. A short walk to the nearest beach (I got lost the first day), Advisable to have your kid on a scooter or in a pram as everything is a short walk away, but most of the walk is in the direct sun, so take protection/parasols. We still talk about the fantastic breakfasts and the beautiful nature in the garden! Hope to go back one day in the not-too-distant future! and do the boat trips. Recommended."

"This location in acropolis was very hard to get to since the streets are very small. I don’t advise bringing a car. It’s impossible to get by anywhere. The atmosphere in the place was OK. The view from the balcony was great with a view of the sea, which was magnificent. However , the room was very small. Resembled a college dormitory room. Trust me it’s no frills! We were given a shower towel each as well as a hand towel, but no washcloths. The breakfast was OK; typical Italian, breakfast , croissant, juice and coffee. There was supposed to be a menu but unfortunately we couldn’t access it. We ended up getting the same thing for three days in a row. I would’ve liked to have a choice as well as more than one cup of coffee. There was a coffee maker in the room and instant coffee. The steps!!! If you’re not in good shape, don’t go there! It’s 52 steps to go down into the unit and then 3 flights of stairs. It’s a lot of bending and very tough if you have heavy bags with you. I gave it only a 2. I think the owner really needs to improve a few things like leaving people washcloths, more than two rolls of toilet paper, as well as a breakfast menu that a person can access. Personally, it’s a very nice place but I think he’s trying to get away on the cheap. If you like primitive, you come here if you don’t go further north into Salerno. My honest opinion I’d never go back. Neither would my husband."
