"The ryokan is located very near the Vine bridge but is quite old looking. The dinner and breakfast are super delicious and is the Japanese style with many small dishes. It was the accommodation with the best dining options throughout my 19 days travel in japan. There is a bathhouse in the ryokan which guests can use. The rooms are all located on the 2nd or 3rd floor, together with the toilet and shower. Room was huge with tatami and can fit in at least 4 person. We were allowed to bring our bikes into the room but we laid them on some cloth to prevent the dirtying of the flooring. Good value for money"

"Old style Japanese ryokan. Well located for henros, walking the 88 temple pilgrimage. Altough old, the building is not do well maintained and some cleaning would be needed. The owner is friendly and speaks English, so that is a plus. The breakfast comes in a plastic bag, directly from a convenience store, quality below average. Would recommend the owner charging 200 yen more and make the breakfast more special."
