"I made a mistake. I had us down initially for three days as we traversed the Pyrenees. Before we got there I changed to two days. A big mistake. The Hotel was wonderful - especially for motorcyclists with off road parking the bikes were safe. In addition Ainsa is a perfect hub to spend 3 or 4 days to explore the region in all directions. In my opinion it really is tyhe very heart of the Pyrenees. The staff at the Hotel were all happy, all knowledgeable and all willing to give advice and help. The rooms were excellent and the shower was good. We had dinner there on one night and it was superb. We ate out the alternate night just for experience and we found plenty of great Places in Ainsa. If you are going to the Pyrenees make sure this is in your itinery and if time allows turn it into a 3 or 4 day base./"

"Very comfortable stay, the staff were pleasant and there was a good breakfast. We found the food in the hotel better than the food in the picturesque Old Town. Obviously being so close to the French border there was a good mix of nationalities. Especially cyclists."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tierra Buxo. The hotel is small but perfectly formed and professionally run. Situated in a small village of less than 40 people it is a perfect spot for a relaxing experience. There are views of the Pyrenees and rolling farmland on the other side, it's epic. The rooms are well designed and spotless, ours had a small balcony that we could sit out. Marta who owns and runs the hotel previously worked for a large 5 star hotel group, before building her hotel 7 years ago. The thought and detail that she has achieved has resulted in one of the best hotels we have stayed in. There is a small pool in the garden, I was fascinated by the swifts dipping down to get a drink, remarkably entertaining. We had dinner in the conservatory restaurant, the views are wonderful and the food and wine sourced locally, we enjoyed our dinner and the explanations of the wine and food. If you want a relaxing place to stay, this is it."
