"We stayed for an overnight after shutting down cabin for the year, I was very pleased and Happy with our stay. Ms Jackie, was the host that checked us in and made sure we were comfortable with everything... The hotel has been taken over by new owners and they fixed it up. The rooms are fantastic and comfortable. In the room there was a small fridge with freezer, Coffee pot with coffee bags and tea bags for lovely cup hot tea, Ceramic or paper cups... Plastic silver wear in wrap bags... The bathroom had a shower that you just step over a very little ledge to get into, very nicely tiled and plenty of towels and accessories. Hair Dryer and a small Vanity mirror. Beds where queen size I believe, very comfortable and great pillows. Also had a nice television mounted on the wall with lots of channels to watch. Just an overall very nice little motel, very quaint, Check in by 3:00 out by 11:00 the next day. Great Parking lot. Very Quiet and peaceful.... I would total recommend, so many fun things to see and do in the area and lots of great restaurants to try out"

"Cabin was recently finished so inside was very new. Apparently the cabin shell had been sitting idle for a number of years. The old deck had been torn off and not yet replaced, so grilling occurred on the driveway instead of the deck, not a big deal. The temperature in the cabin was not able to be controlled very well. In order to get the upstairs bearable to sleep, the basement was about 60 degrees. With a basement and a second floor, when they finished the inside of the cabin they should have installed different zones controlled by individual thermostats. Cabin 51 will have summer temperature issues because of this lack of zone ducting."
