"The breakfast buffet was very generous, the rooms were spacious, and there was even a capsule coffee machine. There was also a movie theater showing films under the stars at night. The resort's prices were quite reasonable, making it worth staying one night."

"Nice resort in Alula. We were lucky to get a good price due to the low occupancy. Bangalows are very nice and comfy for couples. Staff is very polite. Pool is really good, as well as the gym and the multi-purpose court (tennis/basketball you can use for free) and the padel court (needs payment). We did not try the food options on-site (they seemed expensive), we only tried the icecream which was not good and expensive. Location is okay-ish but you will need a car to reach old town (20 minutes) or the main sites (Hegra etc.) (40 minutes). It's also 20 minutes from airport."

"Lovely stay at Our Habitas. The resort is quite big so can be a challenge to get around. The resort does provide e-bikes though and you can also ask the staff to pick you up in the golf buggy (but we had to wait quite a while to get picked up). Pool area is beautiful and food is good."

"A hotel of extreme contrasts, with rammed earth peasant houses and a two-bedroom duplex suite priced at 12,000 yuan per night during the National Day holiday. There's no air conditioning in the first-floor bedroom, only ceiling fans and air conditioners. There's an air conditioner on the second floor that hums all night. The bathroom door is very low, requiring you to bend over to get in, which can easily lead to bumping your head. The windows are pitifully small, and there are almost no lights in the entire hotel. Lighting downstairs relies primarily on cell phone flashlights. The hotel has two advantages: one is its location, which blends seamlessly into the ancient city. The hotel itself is the ancient city, and only guests can enter. The second is the stunning atmosphere when the candles are lit. It's very photogenic, reminiscent of a fairytale scene from One Thousand and One Nights. The dining was excellent; I had dinner and breakfast there. I personally recommend eating all three meals in the hotel; it's much more reliable than those internet-famous hotels in the ancient city. A hotel with a truly exceptional experience. Compared to the Banyan Tree and Habitas, where I stayed later, this one is definitely worth checking out, but don't be too picky about the hardware. It might not be suitable for a visit in the summer, but it's definitely suitable in the fall and winter, and every photo will have a fairytale feel."

There were many Chinese tourists, and they were all very well-behaved."
