"Close enough and far away enough from Lisbon, Hotel da Barrosinha is a perfect spot to enjoy a rural vacation in peace and quiet. Also 30 min away from Comporta is a privileged location to enjoy Comporta and Carvalhal beaches without paying the premium markup of those locations. The pool is very nice and the staff very helpful and friendly, this is my second time there and I am coming back for sure!!"

"Perfect accommodation for a family trip, welcoming atmosphere and the owners are charming and extremely friendly. As we were travelling with a small child, they gave us a room change completely free of charge so we could be more comfortable. Despite the fact that the bathrooms are shared (something we already knew) they were spotless at all times. In short, a fantastic place (although be careful with the mosquitoes in August!) and the owners of the accommodation are 10/10. Thank you very much for everything!"

"Very nice hotel with a magnificent view of the dam. The location is quiet and relaxing; there's nothing else nearby, but for one night it suited us perfectly. I was very disappointed, however, because we had the room on the far left, offering a slight view of the dam and the parking lot... Fortunately, the common areas had a beautiful view. The pool and lounge chairs were perfect, and the breakfast was quite decent. On the other hand, for the price, the reception service leaves something to be desired: no one offered to carry our suitcases. Furthermore, no one staffs the pool bar, which is self-service with very basic drinks. I find it understaffed, especially during high season."
