"Everything was excellent, although the furniture was a bit dated. Excellent restaurant recommendations and helpful staff."
Bakers House Hotel - Favaios Village Resort ★★★

"Magnificent view, beautiful hotel, excellent service. The only downside is that, with the hotel facing south, the large windows heat up the rooms. Even with the curtains closed, the air conditioning struggles to cool the room. I recommend it, a lovely stay!"

"The breakfast was disappointingly small and disappointing."
Hotel Rural da Quinta do Silval ★★★★
"The stay at Quinta do Silval was really enjoyable. The view from the pool is stunning and the room is comfortable and quiet. Hosts are welcoming. Warning!!! Check the road before coming because Google Maps isn’t accurate and drove us through some dirt roads."
Quinta da Seixeda ★★★
"Had a great stay, with a very comfortable room and clean surroundings. Made to feel very welcome by the reception staff, and given excellent recommendations for local area (especially restaurants)."
Casa Dona Edite Guesthouse Douro ★★★
"You need your own transport. Location is amazing, staff is super helpful, amenities are great, cleanliness great. They have a kind dog :)"
