Ibersol Almuñecar Beach & Spa Hotel ★★★★
"The facilities are quite good, the pool is not very big but acceptable, the food is not bad but could be better and a little more variety, the rooms are very good and have good views, the bad thing was that I forgot to put it as non-smoking and it smelled strongly of tobacco, I did not try to change it because we really liked the views, the entertainment is not bad but it is a little or maybe too much designed for the French tourists of which there were many, that is why it must be, for the rest 3 days of relaxation..."
Arrayanes Playa Almuñecar ★★★
"The hotel is in an unbeatable location. Beautiful views of the sea. The hotel urgently needs a renovation of its furniture. That furniture was used during the filming of Alfredo Landa's first spicy film with Betty Mesiego and other average girls (I think that's what the film was called). And the toilet, it's another level! I don't even know how to describe it... it could be 50 years old. I wanted to make a special mention of a girl who claims to be a barista, and according to her there are few left in Spain (in Madrid there may be 80,000) hahahahaha let's see, her CCC course on coffee, she should go over it again. If I had her as an employee she wouldn't last in my business even 5 minutes. Besides being rude, she has no idea how to serve coffee. I'll leave it there. Customers go there to rest and for them to bring us a strong coffee with a little milk (double espresso with a little milk) or double cortado with a little milk x. Absolutely all of her colleagues made me divine coffee except for her. What a joke! She gave me free lessons on cup measurements about coffee. Do you think I was going to argue with you at that hour? In my business, I don't even give lessons on what I sell, much less tell them that they have no idea by constantly clicking my mouth. I am a professional and as such, when they ask me for something that doesn't match the name, I manage to sell them what they ask for, without giving lessons to anyone and without being rude. You have no idea how to serve people for a ******* coffee. Ahhhh, and another very serious thing! My husband went downstairs at 7 am to leave the hotel and the door was closed and NO ONE WAS THERE! He found another super scared client at the reception because she had been waiting there for 15 minutes and no one came. My husband obviously had to search through the drawers to find the keys and open it himself. IF A FIRE OCCURS THE DOOR IS CLOSED... I don't even want to imagine. Anyway... a stone's throw from the beach but overall I'd give it a 1."
Sol Los Fenicios ★★★★
"Very pleasant hotel in a wonderful location, a lucky find at the last minute. The hotel is well run and clean, we booked for 2 nights but were so relaxed stayed an extra night. We booked the full sea view room whose balcony looked directly out to sea with an incredible view, you could lie in bed with the balcony door open which was wonderful. We booked the half board option which should be avoided, the food was plentiful but not very good (not 4* anyway) and always stone cold. Needless to say to say, the extra night was just B&B. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close. The town was a real surprise with a peaceful yet vibrant feeling. We stayed mid week and had the feeling it got busier on the weekends. The rooftop pool was small but not too busy (midweek) with plenary of beds and parasols and also spotlessly clean."
Bahía Tropical ★★★★
"No free parking no shops near all close 9 pm staff very bad, food was very bad Hotel nice location Pool to small for the size of Hotel Was horrible, not recommended 👎"
On Aleta Room Designed for Adults ★★★★
"Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. They were very kind and attentive to detail, and it was very peaceful and relaxing."
Bahía Almuñecar ★★★★
"The hotel was amazing. I was a solo traveller and the stay where very friendly and helpful. This was my second time at the hotel and I must admit this was better than my first time at the hotel. Lots of improvement which I was glad to see. The only thing was some of the quest, they noticed I was a solo traveller and they took advantage of it. I was having my dinner one night and the table next to me put their dirty dishes on my table as I was eating. I picked the plates and put them back on thteir table and told them NO. Well this did not go down well. When I was a the table having my breakfast the following morning one of the ladies walked my me and knocked my table to the point I nearly lost my coffee. She looked back at me and smiled. I was so glad I only had a few days left part of me wanted to let have quest know what I thought of them. Best part of the people there were German and no very nice the others where friendly. There was a cleaning lady she was singing Christmas corals as I came out my room she got me to dance with her. Lol she was amazing and soo funny lol."
Hotel Victoria Playa ★★★★
"As every year, a comfortable hotel. A BIG FAILURE: THE BATH LINEN (Towels) ARE AUTHENTIC SANDY TAPE. I don't think they have been changed since it opened. It is unfortunate for the price and the good location. Very friendly and helpful staff."
Hotel Boutique Palacete del Corregidor ★★★
Hotel Best Alcázar ★★★★
"Very good hotel, average facilities but very good atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff, cleaning service very reliable. good food and nice pools, not overcrowded, open at 10 so you don't have to reserve sunbeds. we will definitely come back."

Hotel Suites Albayzin Del Mar
"Seeing that the hotel cost around 2000€ for 4 people, I thought the hotel would be very luxurious, but it felt more like an old hotel whose best days had passed. The decor was, for some strange reason, full of broken mirrors (warning to the superstitious), and the interior needed updating in many parts. If you have the opportunity to choose a room, never choose the ones with a view of the street and/or on the top floor, because they are the worst. (Unfortunately, my room faced the street and was on the top floor.) It was deadly hot in the room, and to top it off, the air conditioning, instead of blowing fresh air, blew out foul air. We reported this to reception twice, but to no avail. The food was mediocre. Although there were some things that were good, and I liked the dynamics of the all-you-can-eat buffet, the low quality of most of the products dashed my hopes. Next point: Distances. The website I looked at said that the hotel was "on the beach front" but it was almost a 20 minute walk away. Speaking of false promises, it also said "shows in the gardens", but the liveliest part of the gardens (actually the most beautiful part of the hotel) was a tacky children's disco. The only thing that saves the hotel is the pool, which was fabulous, and was the only thing in the hotel that could deserve 4 stars. In short, don't be fooled by first appearances, because in this case, they are often deceptive."
Hotel Casablanca
"Fantastic location, great wee hotel. Super clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only down side is the noise from the corridor/other people but it didn’t stop us sleeping."
H Boutique la Caleta Bay
"We have booked for a weekend, and we are bringing a 2kg dog, for which they ask us for €80 for the weekend!! Which seems totally excessive and out of place to us!! We have claimed the cancellation of the accommodation 5 minutes after booking, as soon as they told us what it cost since it was not indicated, according to them it is indicated on their page but in English, and they tell us that they are sorry but that the rate is non-refundable and they do not accept cancellation. I am booking in a Spanish hotel, I do not have to read anything in English. Better not to give them pet-friendly accommodation and then charge €40 per night per animal, that is very shameless. And of course at least they give you a solution. What they get like this is bad comments and unhappy customers, who of course will never recommend this hotel to anyone."
H Boutique Peña Parda
"We really liked the hotel and a large spacious room with a terrace with sea view. The sea is 2 minutes walk. Nearby is a good restaurant, shops, bars. The only minus is breakfast scarce and uniform. All the rest by 10 points."
