"Located in the center of the city, it is perfect for visiting the Golden Temple, museums, and walking around the surrounding towns. The hotel is a renovated Maharaja's palace, a historical heritage site, and offers comfortable rooms and related facilities. Anyone interested in culture and historical heritage will be satisfied. In addition, there is a food court adjacent to the main dining area, so you have a lot of freedom when it comes to eating. The hospitality of the hotel staff is high and you can expect friendly service. I would like to visit again next time."

"I stayed at two hotels in Amritsar, on two preceeding days to the one I stayed at the Ritz Plaza. One was the Lal kothi at raja sansi, by ITC group! I was not too happy as I was not looking for the standardised, monotonous, closeted, too formal and stiff westernised experience. I changed one hotel every day because I was looking for an authentic Punjabi hospitality experience while offering the touch of good class, which I finally got at the Ritz Plaza, complete with the yummy Amritsari dinner and breakfast. The vast lawns full of mango trees, the framed tapestries on the walls and the original building instead of the glass and chrome laden other hotels, lend it the rich, old world Punjabi air and charm. In addition, it is situated in a very calm, stately neighborhood, in the heart of Amritsar. The staff is seasoned, kind of family, who seem to have stayed with the hotel their entire career and that gives, the real, warm, loyal, relaxed Punjabi vibe! The MD, luckily happened to be around and he personally took the feedback and got a few things set right although the entire team is very professional and extremely good. One more suggestion to the management would be to please maintain the originality of the property, which they have done successfully till now. Keep it up! All the best!! Thanks.."

"I stayed 3 nights earlier this month. I had flown from Delhi but my suitcase was not put on the plane. (I absolutely do not recommend Indigo Air at all, they take your money quickly enough but there is Zero after sales service) I only had a UK number and was told by Indigo that I'd get a call. No call came. I couldn't call the number they gave me to speak to anyone as it was an Indian number. The evening staff member on Wednesday 5th November was excellent. He kept calling the number for me from his personal mobile chasing my suitcase. The suitcase was on the 6.30 flight then the 8.00 flight, according to Indigo, but of course it didn't come and of course they didn't call. In the morning another staff member again called and eventually they delivered my suitcase. The first evening it was too late to go and eat out after waiting so long for my suitcase (which didn't arrive that evening anyway) so I had room service. The Biryani was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent. I took room service again on my last night. My room was really large with really good WiFi, air conditioning and a fridge. I really liked it here. It was very stressful not having my suitcase and nobody telling me when it would arrive. But the staff kept me going and were fantastic. Thank you Hotel Hong Kong Inn"
