"Such a treat! We dive all over the world, service and food here was a cut above most dive resorts. Friendly staff, great food. Diving was luxurious, comfortable boats with warm face towels after each dive, dry towels around your shoulders, team will help with gear on and off, offer tea and coffee between dives, etc.. Dive guides very good at finding wildlife for my camera. If you tell them what you want to find, they will do amazing job searching for it. Frogfish and pipefish every day, Seahorse, cuttlefish, pygmy squid, octopus, Nudibranchs, and more. My dive guide was Vince, say hello if you go."

"We stayed a few nights in the most basic cabin. It was a true wilderness survival experience. The cabins are located far from the road, practically in the jungle. The cabins are made of bamboo, and you get everything that comes with that. There's a pleasant common area. There's free water. The hostess and two dogs were lovely. Probably the worst thing here is the endless mice running through the walls and across the ceiling. This might shock some, so it's best to bring good earplugs."

"Let’s start with the positives: The grounds and the location are beautiful. The room is spacious, and the beds are comfortable; the air conditioning is quiet and works excellently. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. The staff are warm and friendly, doing their utmost to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Now, unfortunately, the negatives: Access is a bit difficult, as the last 100 meters are just a gravel track. The Wi-Fi is very, very poor (sometimes available, then completely gone). The toilet flush in our room didn't work. The interior—including the bathroom—is in need of renovation; the entire complex definitely needs refurbishing. I feel sorry for the staff if the owner doesn't do anything about it."

"We stayed here for nearly a week with another family in two rooms. The resort is beautiful with ocean views, palm trees, and pleasant gardening between the buildings. The saltwater pool is perfect and was never crowded. The staff was very accommodating, booking tours and tricycles, and giving travel advice. One note, the resort is located quite a ways down a super bumpy dirt road, as are most of the resorts in Anda. It was easy to get tricycles into town and back but it was surprising when we first arrived."

"I game to Philipines 1997 for a year. Then move to Bunaken Marine park Indonesia and runned my own Padi 5 Start Dive Resort for 25 years . Now I’m back in Philipnes again. Been running around Panglao and Bohol two years to be able to settle down I have to say food and weather was much better in Manado Indonesia. Also building culture is much more developed in Indonesia than here. It’s been hard work to settle down nicely here in Bohol. 1 Peace Beach Resort is one of my savors. Just so great place I have to travel here every day for lunch and 1-2 times a week for diving . . Location is so peaceful quiet and nice. Sea view with no hassle at all. Bunaken Marine Park in Indonesia where I lived 25 years is the ritziest reef in the World. 1 Peace is not far behind at all. More turtles and Gigant Clams here for sure !! Dive shop is well runned and equipment is in good shape. DPV / under water scooter rental was positive surprise Always nice back round music in the bar area If you plan your holiday in Bohol stay in 1 Peace. Michelin 3 stars from me and only place in Bohol I give Michelin Stars :)"

"We had a great time at the Casa Amihan on Bohol. The rooms were great, the food was excellent and the staff were very good. We would highly recommend this place to others. The location is also very good and there are a lot of other hotels and resorts nearby so you can explore those. The views are also wonderful from the dining area and the patios over the sea. The only drawback is that there is not a real beach, it is mostly coral, so to get to a sandy beach you have to walk over some rock patches, but if you have booties, or go at low tide, it is easy. We will definitely go back to this hotel."

The location is unbeatable — right on a beautiful stretch of beach with crystal-clear water and great for spotting turtles (we saw 4 whilst kayaking). "My stay at 1PEACE has been the best experience with a hotel and diving operation so far since I've gotten to the Philippines. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the food is top notch, and the French couple who run the dive shop are also really great.
