"Booked this as a very last minute basis for a four night stay with my wife. We arrived late at night but the cheerful hotel owner was there to greet us. Check in was very quick. We were shown to our room (D1) which was ground level and tucked away in a quiet corner. The room was spacious with a double bed and a single. The room was very clean and was kept clean during the stay. We were bed and breakfast. The breakfast was very nice with a decent spread of hot and colds to choose from and a good variety of fruit. There is a small swimming pool and a pool bar. However, the bar was never open while we were there. Now to the negative and this isn't really a dig at the hotel as such but, it is very isolated. There is a bar and restaurant attached which does nice food and drinks but there is nothing else. The small hotel is surrounded by sprawling 5 star, all inclusive hotel complexes that were for residents only. There is no choice other than use the above mentioned bar and restaurant. There is, however, the option to walk to Hersonossis. It's a 20-25 minute walk along the coast. If you don't want to walk, the bar staff are always willing to call a taxi which come very quickly and costs 10 Euro each way. To sum up, a very nice family run hotel but out of the way. If you want a choice of bar and restaurants, this isn't the place for you. Would I go back? Due to the location, sadly not."

Also if your group is coming without a guide you can wait at the guides bench and one available guide from the museum can take your group. The circuit is well defined for a self paced and the visit is well worth the money if you want to immerse into the Minoian history and Greek mythology"

"We (5 of us across 2 rooms) spent 10 nights here and had the best time. The owners George and Maria, and staff Bill, Nick and Rosa are very nice people- they really made us feel welcome and comfortable like we were at home- anything we wanted or needed they would do their best to help us. Bill and Nick were especially kind to my three children who are 16, 13 and 11 they really looked out for them which put us at ease- they also joined in when we played games in the pool which was great. I really can’t thank them enough they made our holiday. The location is quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy city- there are some nice beaches and restaurants in walking distance- Sarandaris beach is lovely- Ya seafood is a great place to eat. However, be warned if you do walk anywhere there will be big hills to walk up on the way back. The apartments are clean, well kept and have everything you need for your stay. Rosa cleans the rooms every day bless her- she works so hard in the heat. The gardens and pool area are also very clean and well kept and there are many sunbeds- which were always available as the pool area never really got busy. Bill is a great cook- the first night he prepared us a meal of roast chicken, potatoes, rice and salad and it was delicious. Nick is a great host and he makes the best cold coffees and cocktails. I would recommend hiring a car- We hired a car for our trip so it was easy to get around and visit other areas of Crete- there’s so many beautiful places- Agia Pelagia beach, Kato Gouves, Agios Nicolaos Overall we had an amazing time at Kreta Natur, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break away I would recommend coming here."

"A good family-run resort, clean, breakfast and dinner buffet, drinks at a reasonable price, Anna Maria always available as well as all the staff. On the various sites that offer the resort it often appears with a private beach 300 meters away, but it is a translator's error. The beaches are ten minutes away, with sunbeds and umbrellas and also a free beach. For those who love other beautiful beaches you need a car and the island is very large to reach a beautiful beach from where the resort is located it can take almost 4 hours."

"We only stopped for two nights as we were meeting friends who were staying elsewhere. What a good choice we made. Although simply furnished, the apartment was large with two balconies. One large enough to accommodate sun loungers and table and chairs and the other smaller was at the side of the building but still had a sea view. Well impressed. Clean, Comfortable, large and lovely host. A short walk to the main beach and Tavernas. With café/bar/supermarket nearby."
