"We visited for two nights following a holiday including visiting Bogata and Medellin. This hotel offers an ideal location to regroup before travelling home to the Uk. The pool and surrounding hotel were the perfect combination of historic beauty and interest with comfort and treats. We were entertained by a major lightning storm but it brought cooler weather which was a bonus. The town square was great for a beer and some people watching. We are really likely to return."

"Beautiful hotel but poor service. We booked a room, confirmed it in advance, and when we arrived were told it had not been in service for over two weeks. We wound up in a room half the size, woken up by noise outside our window early in the morning (first the pool cleaners at 6 am and then a family swimming at 8 am). This is a lovely place but wow the service was not good."

"Decided to take a trip from Medellin to Santa Fe. Casa Bixa is a fantastic inn for the journey. Steps from the main square with a traditional Casa feel but all new construction. You enter through an open courtyard to mountain views. Rooms are spacious with all 4 star conveniences. Comfy bed, strong AC, great shower. Included breakfast feels like a private chef prepared meal. Staff is present and attentive."
