"Fabulous hotel with beautiful rooms and magnificent views, lovely staff and services. However crying out for a shuttle service, 30 min walk to grotto in the heat. Not great for retired people, but discovered to our cost, town only has 2 taxis, difficult to get and go off at 10.30pm. A kind local saved our bacon as one of our party had a foot injury with no chance to walk. Hotel needs to help their clients more with maybe 2 pickups at 11pm and 12pm....."

"Despite the name and entrance, this is a very nice modern hotel, with nothing historic about it. They have an excellent breakfast. It is about a 10 minute walk to the grotto and to most of the restaurants. The staff is pleasant ( except for one grumpy bartender)."

"I wrote a mail with a lot of negative remarks and a proposal to compensate the problems we had during our stay. But the direction / reception do not take the remarks serious. The only answer I got, is : "We will do it better next time" But that is not a compensation for a lot of money I paid to get minor service."

"The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The location was also very positive: it is all over the center and very close to the main landmarks of the town. However, to mention something negative, the pool was somewhat dirty and the water from the jacuzzi stick of the room was leaving water through the board so the whole floor was filled (it must be fixed)."
