"I can honestly say I've never stayed at such a bad Ctrip Gold Diamond hotel. Of course, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, so it wasn't their fault at all. This hotel definitely has management problems. First, the facilities are quite old, which isn't usually a big issue in Europe. The hot water wasn't hot enough for showering in the morning, but this wasn't a problem at night, which I suspect is due to the heating system settings. Perhaps because it's the off-season, there were no staff on duty at the front desk or in the restaurant (it's hard to imagine a five-star hotel doing this). There were 3-4 large, free-roaming dogs in the hotel's outdoor area that would follow people around; although they were docile, it was still quite unsettling."

Great location just off the main road with walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. The home cooked a la carte breakfast in the cosy lounge/bar area was delicious. Various coffees,freshly squized juice and freshly baked bread was a great start of the day. But the best thing is the atmosphere and service provided by Dana, Alexandra, and the rest of the team. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and pleasant. "
