"Had a very disappointing experience at Lotus Sutra. The hospitality was extremely poor — starting from the security guards to the reception staff, no one seemed to know how to communicate with guests. The staff seriously needs proper soft skills training. They market themselves as a premium resort, but even basic services were missing. There was no one to assist with luggage, and we had to carry our bags ourselves from the main road. The approach road is very narrow, making it difficult for cars to even reach properly. In the scorching heat, there wasn’t even a welcome drink or basic water offered. The reception is in an open area, so you’re left waiting under a fan during check-in. They are also very rigid about early check-ins, with no flexibility at all. The room (partial sea view) was small, not very clean, and the overall property feels poorly maintained. The checkout experience was even worse — staff kept knocking and rushing us out, not allowing even a few extra minutes. There is a lady at the reception who was particularly rude, and I personally witnessed her speaking harshly to multiple guests during checkout. Overall, this place does not live up to its “premium” claim. Would not recommend. Only Good thing: Direct access to Arambol beach. Also worth noting: guests are encouraged to leave reviews during checkout in front of staff, which may explain the unusually high number of positive ratings."

"We visited this hotel for the second time. This year we stayed here two weeks. It’s an excellent hotel for a reasonable price. Large and clean rooms with television, fridge, and a nice bathroom. We stayed on the ground floor with a nice terrace outside. The large king-size bed with a comfortable and soft mattress and clean sheets. And clean sheets and duvet. The rooms all have air-conditioning. The staff of the hotel is very kind and helpful."
