Bella Apartments & Rooms ★★★★

"Attention! If you are considering booking this type of apartment or guest house for your trip, be sure! Do not use Ctrip, it is very deceptive. This type of hotel is self-service check-in, and requires a four-digit code, but Ctrip does not provide it at all, and there is no explanation in the email. We were asked to call outside the hotel to check in. I booked an apartment, the room is large, the facilities are complete, and it has a balcony. The only drawback is that the hot water smells a bit strange when taking a shower. Many hotels in Iceland have similar smells, and I don’t know the cause."

Hotel Selfoss ★★★★

"Excellent location, comfortable beds and great breakfast. The staff are lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

Bakki Apartments & Hostel ★★★

"Perfect stay before heading toward south of the island! Very friendly and welcoming host. We had a lovely stay at the hotel apartment, would come back again in the future."

Hotel South Coast ★★★★

"Small town hotels in Iceland with a warm feel. The room is comfortable and clean. However, there should be many tour guests, fighting for food like a war at breakfast, avoiding the first round of breakfast time if self-guided can."

Guesthouse Bitra B&B ★★

"Clean, with a wide variety of food"
