"The fact the the receptionist , who was extremely pleasant btw, greeted me by my name, always smiling and personally took me to my room was such an excellent experience. The hotel also had two nice pools. The one on ground level had nice, modern bar. The one on the fourth floor gave me a different perspective of Arraial with the turquoise ocean view and its nice White House’s on the hill. Breakfast was flawless. Highly recommended."

"Well, at the moments we were in the room we missed a television that worked, she only picked up on the first day, then she failed the signal in the other three days, I know nobody goes to the beach to see TV, but she missed a lot, particularly night ... a simple problem, which would be solved with an external antenna connected in all TV devices."

"Stayed one night in a private room with my partner, the hostel vibe was fine, but the room and staff were very disappointing. The room (#23) had a strong smell of urine both in the room and bathroom. When we informed the staff, they just responded with “OK” - no intention to help or support in any way. On top of that, the check-in process was cumbersome, and the hostel spams you with loads of messages on WhatsApp. Last, when we asked for tips on getting to a beach by private car they didn’t seem to care about helping and gave us wrong advice telling us it wasn’t possible to drive there. Avoid if you can - you can find something better at that price."

"The only two points in the evaluation are for the location of the inn and the service provided by the staff. The rest of the review leaves much to be desired. Access is very difficult for those with a low-slung car. But there's no way to change that. Just a warning. The room is very simple but smells of mold, the bathroom has an electric shower that doesn't produce much water. It needs to be cleaned better. The bed linen and towels are only changed every three days. The breakfast is very poor, with few fruit options, bad cheeses and few tables. If you arrive late, you'll have to wait for a spot to have breakfast in peace. If you need Wi-Fi, forget it. It only works near the reception. When I go back to Arraial, I'll look for other options."

"The breakfast was a variety of fruits, different breads and cakes, we missed a mystery to warm the bread. Hair and iron dryer are collective, only ask at the reception to use and deliver back. Unfortunately a wire crashed on the street and we spent half the night with much warm for lack of light, but it was not the fault of the hostel. The advantage was the water system that is not electric, the bathroom had hot water even without light, fair value for what it is offered, but toilet paper and towel had mopho marks."
