I don’t know if it’s the chef’s cooking skills or the cooking method that’s different! It feels far from the standard of a five-star hotel. I chose a lot of dishes, but almost none were delicious. "We went for dinner. The restaurant was fairly busy but we didn’t feel rushed at any stage .Beautiful setting, friendly staff. We had the 6 course taster menu which was excellent. Not cheap at €95 but you get what you pay for. Interesting wine options including numerous taster selections. Couldn’t fault it 👍"

"Pool was nice and plenty of loungers and seats. Room was cool and functional otherwise everything was a bit disappointing. Loud music until at least 11pm meant we struggled to sleep. Mould seen on pancakes at breakfast. Drinks cups found in light fittings and bathroom very tired and in need of a deep clean. Bar area wasn’t aircon so too hot to sit inside. Staff functional and friendly enough but some things like cleaning floors whilst rush hour to get to breakfast weren’t well thought out."
