"The manor house is old and furnished in the “olde worlde” style. Our room on the second floor was on the smaller side, but not cramped. However, the bed linen was crisp and white and a real pleasure to sleep in! Breakfast was adequate with the usual cereals, bread, cold cuts and fruits. Hot dishes were scrambled eggs, bacon and fried frankfurters- guess should have been sausages? Dinner was well-cooked food, nothing fancy, but delicious. The swimming pool is outside/outdoor and quite a distance from the main house. Overall had a pleasant stay."

"Wow, this place was the best accommodation while on our French Camino. The sheets and pillows were soft and the mattresses were very comfortable. The scenery is like an oil painting, very picturesque. The staff, sister of the owners greeted us and was very friendly, helpful and nice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. They even did our laundry. A nice touch was the scented candle in the room. We would like to come back and stay for a couple of nights and use the tennis court and pool. A beautiful place to stay."

"Stopped for one night after a long day of walking. The reception and rooms were tastefully decorated. Our room (Oxford) didn’t have air conditioning, although it didn’t seem to have had much sun shining in through the day so wasn’t too hot when we went in. The bathroom was clean and the shower good, but the light and fan could not be turned on or off by a switch and came on each time anyone opened the bathroom door. Unfortunately our stay was negatively affected by an outdoor concert that was taking place almost directly across from our room with extremely loud music until after 2am."
