"This is my second time visiting this resort. I am not fast to give a poor review and like to give the business always a chance. As being this my second visit, I must review since it seems that nothing or very little has been done to improve the hospitality of this resort. Let’s do this by sections: 1. Check in: The two times I booked a premium reservation which it means beach view & private. Receptionist told me this time that I had premium although the first view was the pool/restaurant area. But it was also the fact that my first reservation it was completely private & this one was shared by another family bungalow. They didn’t try to accommodate but I still pay the full price for something it was not worth 100% Someone arrives with you at the room to make you sign 5 pieces for everything. 5 forks,spoons,knives,glasses,towels. Also count remote controls blankets cups& plates. Well you better count well I had 4 forks not 5 and she had to adjust her document otherwise they charge you at check out. 2. Room Irma: My room was missing all pillow sleeves and the fire detector battery kept on beeping. Had to call maintenance to have it change. 3. Breakfast included: a glass of much water of pineapple or papaya juice warm/cold coffee & cold eggs. They have menu items but you are never told to pay at the restaurant. So if you bring no money and need to go to your room to get cash be prepare to leave all persona information in addition to whatever you have already given them because I guess they don’t trust anyone and they think you will fly out of the country for 5 dollars 5. Checking out is at noon. At 11:30 someone comes to “remind you” of checkout time. Not only that is enough, they send two men at 11:35 am to wait outside your door and rush you to get out. It is extremely uncomfortable to have to shower and change knowing your doors are open with men outside waiting for you like you are some sort of criminal. Totally unnecessary. 6. And to finish l, this lovely resort has not AC units, windows has not screen to protect from mosquitoes and d flys to come in, therefore sleeping will be either too hot with closed windows or you will be up late at night fighting to kill mosquitoes because they will not you viciously all night. They do not provide: hand towels or shower towels. Shampoo is two-in-one soap and shampoo but you have to wash yourself with your hands because they do not provide small towels for the shower. No body cream no conditioner, nothing extra. Don’t ask for ice because although they have a full kitchen they don’t want to give you any. No beach chairs either. They have a beautiful beach in front of the resort but if you don’t bring your own you will be seating in the hard sand. No bar, no pool music, no privacy. I feel this resort has potential, but whomever is managing this place has lots to learn and a lot of work to do. Staff is somehow pleasant depends on the mood they are in. I do not recommend staying here because I did not"

"We have a very good time with friends the well-operative barbecue and the service girl also access to the beach is very close and there are various restaurants around the area really a relaxation to choose in Asia Lima super relaxing and good place to pass The summer in Lima ."

"The restaurant served a good breakfast but the evening meals were cold. There was no hot water in the bathroom and the water was very slow running. One afternoon, there was no water coming from the hot tap at all. The bedroom floor was filthy and we ended up with dirty socks & feet from walking on the floor."

"A very nice surprise! The hotel setting was wonderful, between tall tall mountains and the roaring river Cañete. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, facing the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We will return!"

"I went for 4 days with my girlfriend and we had such an amazing time! We were swimming in the pool, traveling to the river and resting on the hummocks. There is a lot of trees and flowers around the Hotel and it is so beautiful to see the managers taking care of their unique peace of paradise. You canreally see the love that was invested in the place."

"There are little details that need addressing but under new management Qallwa continues to improve. Staff ia very accomodating. Quiet for a good night of sleep yet close enough to a main shopping center and restaurants. It is my go to places when I'm in Chincha"
