The Grove Seaside Hotel ★★★★

"Fabulous, friendly Hotel, great location! This place was a great find. Rooms were spotless, double bed comfy and each room has its own small balcony with either a sea view or garden view. The restaurant had a buffet facility and you can eat inside or outside. The location is a hop and a skip from the beach which offers guests sun loungers and beach parasols. The views of Tolo and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. Reception staff were friendly and helpful - as were the restaurant staff. The outdoor pool is big (no idea why a previous reviewer said it wasn't!) and is next to a nice poolside bar ( although a bit pricey compared to other local bar offerings). The location is perfect for the numerous local excursion possibilities including the lovely town of Nafplio and the ancient city of Mycaenae. The breakfast buffet was generous, and full of fresh fruit, yoghurt, lovely breads, sometimes freshly made pancakes, cheeses, eggs, cold meats etc. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment set in a delightful orange grove."

"The hotel is located in the center of Tolo, 30 meters from the sea. Very clean room, very kind and professional staff, excellent breakfast. The view from the balcony is truly fantastic. Not to be missed if you are visiting Mycenae and Epidaurus. We will definitely be back!"

"The location of Oasis Apartments is fantastic: the house is located in a peaceful and very quiet area and everything is close to you. Shops, restaurants and the beach are within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. Our highlights are the bathroom, balcony and parking. The beautiful bathroom is renovated, comfortable and deserves 5 stars. We spent a lot of time on the large balcony with a beautiful view of the garden and the sea. The apartments have private parking, so the vacation is much more relaxed when you have a place to park your car. Our host, Michalina, is wonderful: so welcoming, friendly, helpful, attentive and will do everything to make your vacation perfect. Thank you Michalina for the excellent stay, we will definitely choose Oasis Apartments again."

"Wonderful location - fabulous uninterrupted sea views, comfortable beds, high quality linen, modern well equipped rooms/apartments. Breakfast really quite exceptional and fantastic that included with the room price - big choice, really friendly staff, good quality ingredients, great coffee - just the ticket to set you up for the day. Beach directly in front of room really good for swimming (even if a bit cool in April). Cocktails in the bar very good and reasonable, again all with that view! Both Nelly and her brother in particular make you feel very welcome and more like a family friend than a paying client. Would not hesitate to stay again - really good option if you wanted to do a few days in Athens and a few days at the beach (less than 2 hour drive from Athens). Overall great value and the best place to stay for a break in Tolo and surrounding area - lots of ruins, beaches etc within easy 30 minute drive. "
