Had to get a replacement card as my kid locked the door behind us. Easy fix. After dinner key didn't work, front desk kid said it was too close to my cellphone (other pocket in a digitally secure case) so it disabled card and it was normal. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels without issue. Went to beach and again key didnt work. I called Marriot Bonvoy and they said they never heard of this problem. Went to get ANOTHER room card and told the dreadlocked desk agent the situation and my convo w Marriot. He literally told me he didnt care what other vendors said and said I'm free to leave. I'm here at Mayo clinic for cancer follow up once a month, and the rooms are clean, and affordable. Yet I literally didnt argue more because my 6 year old was with me. Maybe because Im white, or he just didnt give AF because he can call the shots. I am beyond humiliated. On top of that its IMPOSSIBLE to verbally talk to a human with Choice Hotels. Stay away, far away from this Quality (oxymoron) in Atlantic Beach.

Its a new building so everything is sparkling clean. Check in is quick and easy. They have problems with their system at first because it gave the receptionist a not made room. He gave us another room. Its spacious, new beddings, has a fridge, tv and a microwave. No hairdryer, but i dont mind it. I highly recommend this place. I love that the he printed a sketch to where your room is located and parking is just in front the room door. It's pretty secure, i dont see any ***** hanging outside the property. There's a lot of cctv on the premises, i saw it in front of reception and i think i saw a security guard (I'm not sure but that person looks like it, I maybe wrong because I didnt ask) No loud music that i heared. With the price, you cant beat the value. The only feedback i could give to management is to change the bed frames, its not solid. It moves and creates noise. No breakfast but has a coffee maker in the receiving area. You need to pay for Kcup vending machine.

Nice hotel very clean. The outside was very dark at night. The bed was extra firm to hard for me made me and my wife sore. The shower was nice but didn't have a door or anything just one half covered with a piece of glass we didn't like it very cold while trying to shower.

I had to travel from Panama City to Jacksonville for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic. I had early appointments and finished before the usual check in time. I would have had to wait for four hours before check in time. I called and spoke with a young lady who was very helpful. She allowed us to check in early which allowed me to get some rest. Our room was beautiful and clean. I have many appointments scheduled with the Mayo Clinic and plan to use your hotel for all of them. Thank you so much for the hospitality. Sherri Miller
