"This hotel is in a beautiful location. The room was clean and the staff was gracious and hospitable. It is a casual hotel, not luxury but we loved it! We only stayed one night. I wish we had stayed two nights. Lots of hiking, biking, zip line - great activities all right there. The dinner served was outstanding! I would definitely go back!"

"This hotel is located right by the Aurlandsfjord. You just cross the road and walk down a short slope for about 20-30 meters, and you're at the waterfront. The room isn't huge, but the facilities are quite new. There's a lift from the ground floor to the second floor for luggage, but you'll need to use the stairs for the third and fourth floors. The hotel offers a dedicated free car park right outside. Dinner is available at the hotel, or you can take a three-minute walk to the SPAR supermarket next to the church for supplies, as there aren't many other dining options in the small town. Breakfast is a relatively simple buffet, with an à la carte menu available for additional orders. The room includes a kettle, but apart from towels, no other disposable toiletries are provided."

"We booked a wooden house for our family trip. It has three bedrooms and a living room and can accommodate eight people, which is a bit of a waste for us. Complete equipment, good for self-catering. The place is a bit remote. It was already dark when we got there. We drove through several long tunnels and winding mountain roads. It is recommended that if you want to drive to this hotel by yourself, it is best to arrive before dark."

"A charming little village with great hiking trails. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight. Go for a hike and then drive on. It’s very expensive to stay there, and you even have to pay to use the swimming dock. In general, the locals don’t seem very welcoming towards tourists. There is especially one older man who behaves very aggressively towards visitors."
