"Lovely setting, plenty of on-site walks. The decor in the public rooms is to die for. The room we had was immaculately clean, equipped with everything we needed for a short break. The food is delicious. But what makes this hotel is the staff. Cheerful, attentive, nothing too much trouble. I have a food allergy & it was catered for without fuss and with a smile."

"This is definitely ond of our favourite hotels. It has such a calm yet happy vibe. The decor and furniture are modern, minimal and just right for the space, everything is high quality, from the furniture to the water crafts, right down to the napkins! The only 'issues' we come across this visit was the miscommunication by staff regarding the spa closing times, which meant we didn't get to use it as expected on the Sunday evening. Also I haven't been able to find any information regarding the new policy of needing to p£50 per night per room down as a deposit on arrival, it is however returned to your account the moment you check out but a heads up regarding this would be nice! Overall though its excellent value for money...we were late booking do ended up having to get a room with a mini bar, unfortunately we didn't realise the content was included in the price so missed out on the treats we unnecessarily resisted all weekend!! Would highly recommend for a peaceful break that still has a bit of an busy atmosphere going on :)"

"We had a brilliant stay at this premier inn, mainly due to staff members Bernie and Melissa. We were staying here due to my partner being in Stoke Mandeville hospital, so we had a very stressful few days. This was very much helped by Bernie and Melissa, who showed us so much kindness and went out of their ways to help us time and time again - even helping me get my luggage to the car due to me holding my baby in one hand! They really made what was a very difficult time for us much easier and we really really appreciate it. Both ladies are an absolute credit to premier inn!"
