"We arrived on a very hot afternoon and were warmly greeted and given details of our room and told that the car park was a pay and display public car park. The charge was 3 euro for 24 hours. The room was standard Mercure with a shower above the bath. The hotel had access to the adjacent municipal swimming pool. For our evening meal we purchased the buffet for 30 euros which was very good value and included hot and cold food. Breakfast was very good with everything that you could want. If we are in the area again we would happily stay here again"

"We had a fantastic time staying at the Gartenhotel for a long weekend during the Wurstmarkt. Our room was large and clean. The balcony was a nice touch. The reception desk was extremely efficient. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet selections. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the global artwork is tasteful. My spa experience was equally rewarding. The massage therapist was skillful and spent a long time with me. It was probably one of the best massages I have had. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and noise of the city and festival. Tip: it takes about 15 minutes to walk to town, so if you’re not mobile or opposed to walking uphill on the way back you might want a taxi."
