Is Serenas Badesi Resort ★★★★
"I really wished I wasn’t here writing this review but here we are. My family of 4 stayed at Is Serenas for 10 days in September. We booked through a travel agency. Long story short: on the website you can read everything about the 3 restaurants, the possibility to eat at the beach bar etc. We picked this resort (and paid a decent amount of money) also for the options that they were offering. When we got there we were told that 2 restaurants were closed, that the pool bar was closed and that the beach bar was only serving drinks and snacks (most of the time it was the leftover from breakfast). This meant that the only buffet restaurant was always extremely busy and the queue at the bars during the day could get to 7-8 minutes just to grab a coffee or a drink. We complained for the lack of transparency as this was not advertised on the website, both with our agency and directly. We have been contacted by the manager and then the director 2-3 days before the last day of the holiday offering 2 compensatory meals and access to the “prestige” pool, which we didn’t accept . They ended up giving us £100 off on what we purchased at the bar (the ice creams are not included !) .Overall the resort is ok but it is not worth 4 stars for sure (and not worth the price !!!!)"
Horizon Hotel Badesi ★★★
Chicca ★★★★
"The location can't be beat. Only a few meters from the sea, with an unbeatable view. The house is modern and has a really great kitchen! Large, furnished terraces! Good starting point for excursions (Castelsardo, Isola Rossa, Santa Teresa di Gallura ect.)"
Residence Il Borgo di Badesi ★★★
"We went for four days and had no hot water pressure in the shower for the first two days. We reported the incident on the first day, and the problem wasn't fixed until the third. They also left the sink covered in mud, with our toiletries in it. We complained to the hotel manager, and he treated us terribly. All he did was invite us to breakfast. When we told him we wanted to file a formal complaint, he stopped understanding Spanish and left us speechless. What could have been a phenomenal vacation turned out to be anything but. Add to that the fact that the apartments aren't great either, and the only thing worthwhile are the sunsets."
Mimose Beach Village ★★★
"A wonderful stay in a truly relaxing setting, perfect for families with children, with fun experiences every day for the little ones, thanks to Andrea's fabulous entertainment team. He captivates both adults and children with his passion and fun. Definitely recommended!"
I Giardini di Badus ★★★
"The staff of the reception are very friendly and available."
Residenza Pierre et Vacances Badus ★★★
"-Poor harmony between the reservation and the local offices, the payment of the remaining 50% of the reservation had to be done in cash, it could not be by card. -They didn't know that the three apartments reserved by me were a group. -In the American kitchen there is no room for anything, all the space occupied by a sink, stove and microwave. -At night it seemed like you were entering a cave because of the low light from the fluorescent bulbs, very old!! -There was no simple toaster, you had to toast the bread in the microwave."
Résidence Baia Delle Mimose ★★★
"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and paid €2800, but the quality was far below what the price would suggest. We were four families who booked our stay six months in advance, yet we were all placed in different parts of the resort. We had reserved "comfort" rooms, but were given "standard" ones, where even taking a shower was a challenge — the water temperature constantly switched between ice cold and scalding hot. The website claims the hotel is on the first line from the beach, but in reality, it’s about 1 km away. We were placed on a street with private houses, where it was impossible to sleep due to loud music and shouting that continued until 6 in the morning. There was no internet connection in the room, and even mobile signal was barely available. The restaurant served the same food every day. It was impossible to get a proper egg in the morning — they were always rubbery and unappetizing. We had booked full board, but almost everything on the premises had an extra charge, even drinking water. From 12:30 to 19:30 there was no food available for children, so we had to figure out how to feed them ourselves. The staff was completely disorganized. We were sent to park in a lot, only to wake up and find a handwritten note on our car saying it was a private parking spot. None of our complaints received any response. The beach was dirty, with old umbrellas and sunbeds. The pool was also unclean. This hotel completely ruined our impression of Sardinia"
