Boutique Hotel Herbergh Amsterdam Airport Free Parking ★★★

📍 Sloterweg 259, Badhoevedorp

"We stayed for two nights and wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight home. Unfortunately its location is still a 15 minute drive from the airport and 20 minutes from central Amsterdam (or a 2 hour walk!) so although the free shuttle from the airport was appreciated we spent a lot on ubers thereafter. This is not the hotels fault which we found to be very welcoming with a comfortable bed and good amenities. The room and ensuite were modern in design and spotlessly clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the breakfast but our brief stay was enjoyable."

"We booked a double room for one night because everything in Amsterdam was fully booked. For that purpose, it was fine. A tip for affordable parking and getting to the city center is to use the P+R parking lots for €6 a day."

Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport ★★★
"The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean. The view from the window was quite nice, and I could even watch planes landing while having a meal at the nearby McDonald's. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was good too. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit, as it's super convenient for the airport."

Residence Inn by Marriott Amsterdam Schiphol Airport ★★★★
"It is a really nice place. The shuttle helps a lot to get to and fro airport. Do note that airport to apartment is free but apartment to airport is 5 Euro per person, best to buy beforehand because we saw people getting rejected trying to buy onboard. QR is located at helpdesk or you can search online. The room itself is self sufficient. No basic salt or pepper but they have a small shop within the vicinity. Don't like the fact that the entire room is dim litted with yellow lights and the shower glass is frosted that can still see people inside, really intrusive. Laundry self-service is available at your own cost."

Ibis Budget Amsterdam Airport ★★
"The room was very clean, and the service was warm and attentive. It's not far from the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle bus service to and from the airport. When I booked, I was a bit worried the room might be too small, but it turned out to be fine. The only slight issue was the limited space for hanging clothes; with our three large suitcases, the room felt a bit cramped. The breakfast had a great variety of bread and plenty of fruit. Plus, breakfast starts as early as 4 AM, which was super convenient for us as we had an early departure."

"They provide a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and it isn't far from the airport. The staff is very nice, they have a small but sufficient menu in the restaurant. The room was a bit outdated and unfortunately smelled a bit like smoke, even though smoking is prohibited."
