"Had a memorable stay at Mavi retreat Badami during the Diwali holidays together with friends and family . The resort is architected and designed as a blend with the rugged terrain of Badami and the laterite stone based construction , the French window entrance concept and overall feeling of rustic nature made this resort very beautiful . The staff were very friendly and attentive . However we had some issues with room ( bathroom exhaust issue ) delays in the restaurant service , pool not clean etc which I guess are teething troubles of this new resort in a remote location . Overall we enjoyed Mavi retreat and look forward to coming here again !"

They were friendly, polite and efficient. "Good location, right in front of bus station. AC was good. Room was clean. Does not provide Electric Kettle which is a standard expectation from hotels now-a-days. Staff is very polite and cooperative. Vegetarian restaurant just below the hotel (not sure whether it is owned by hotel) offers a good range of tasty South Indian food. Parking space can be a challenge as the hotel does not have its own parking space and since it is a very crowded area, finding a safe parking space can be a challenge. "

"We were staying in one of the cottages and found this to be a lovely little three star resort. You get what you pay for. Nice pool and as a group we were had a fantastic welcome from all the saree clad ladies. The restaurant is pure veg so no eggs but otherwise the breakfast was fine. Dinner was a buffet and they did have noodles. Staff were so very helpful, even went out to buy Diet Coke for us."
