"Clean, friendly, great recommendations for dinners in neighboring Bagnoreggio, only 8 minutes drive away as well as entrance to the tiny hilltop village of Civita Bagnoreggio. Orvieto was a 30 minute drive. Beautiful location in the country side. Public areas were well appointed. Breakfast was abundant."

"Staying in this hotel was absolutely the pinnacle of our 2 weeks in Italy. I cannot even put into words how FABULOUS this place is - it's a hidden treasure and I firmly believe everyone should get to stay here once in their lives. Cristina and Paulo are such interesting hosts and both immediately felt more like friends than business owners. The bedroom was incredible, breakfast made us feel like a king and queen and the decor is BEYOND amazing. And the very best bit is the 2 dogs, Olivia and Ortensia who were VERY attentive at breakfast, and then happy to sit/lie back and allow us to stroke them for as long as we wanted to! The garden is beautiful, views to die for and we will be returning to Italy if only to stay here for longer - sadly we had only 1 night, a big regret. Civita itself is a fascinating place, almost unworldly and feels like a step back in time."

"We spent a night here. The owner was very nice, both telephonely and personally. We were in the papaver room, it was not huge but we were very good ( 2 adults + 2 children). The lady left everything ready for breakfast, with the opportunity to take from the yoghurt fridge, water, juices: there was choice for everyone: coffee from the machine or moka, at the customer's choice. There is no lift, our room had bidet. The car can be brought in front of the entrance for load and discharge of luggage. Comfortable to visit Civita, we made the bus walk and walk back."
