"We were guests of the hotel for the fourth time, and year after year we see progress and development in terms of accommodation, catering and other services. We experienced pleasant changes this year as well, for example the comfortable beds on the beach, in the indoor pool area, and in the rooms, as well as the animator team of Animacik, who are very skilled, enthusiastic and cheerful both in the Kinderklub and in other programs for children and adults. We also consider it important to mention that the quality of restaurant service has also become much better thanks to the cooperation of the older routine and young motivated employees. The food - as always - was very delicious. Thank you again for the hospitality, we will come again!"

"The hotel is beautiful, the breakfasts are wonderful. The location is fabulous. However, the lack of toilet paper is unacceptable for this level of service. We discovered this late in the evening after returning from the restaurant, and reception is open until 8 pm. We had to run around looking for alternatives. Luckily, I met a hotel employee by chance, and she helped us with this issue; we got some toilet paper from the shared restroom. I'd also like to point out that the furniture and interior are antique, but dust can be removed even from antiques, just like cobwebs from windows. Compared to the Austrian approach to housekeeping, we found ourselves on a whole new level here."

"This hotel is going through a renovation floor by floor. If you get a new floor (floors 2 or 3) then you will be very happy. If you get an old floor then it ranges from adequate to very dated. Overall this location is fantastic being on the Tihany shore with a private beach and a lovely pool. The breakfast and dinner are good by 3 star standards although there is competition for the popular dishes and at peak times it is very difficult to get a table or drinks. The lobby is always busy with activities or entertainment. I suspect if we had received updated rooms we would be giving this a 4, but as it was it was a 3. Stay for the location and don't be too picky about rooms or food. The staff was very helpful and in particular the hotel, although dated, is well kept and clean. This hotel was sold out when we were there in August of 2024."

"The room was okay, but a bit far from the lake, a 20-minute walk. I was a little scared to walk back alone after dark. I was very satisfied with the room after one night, so I extended my stay for another night through Ctrip. However, the hotel manager told me that the room was already booked and I had to change rooms. Considering it was just moving to the next room, I reluctantly agreed. The new room's balcony was half the size, which was bad enough, but the shower was broken, and the curtains didn't block out the light, waking me up early in the morning. At checkout, the manager asked for 1480 forints for city tax, accepting only cash. I gave her 5000 forints, but after leaving, I found she only gave me 3020 forints in change, 500 forints short. Was she deliberately trying to collect a tip this way? Unacceptable!"
