Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night.
Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way.

It's located right in front of the beach, and there's a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is any accommodation in Positano with a better location.

It may be a bit difficult to find the entrance to the accommodation when checking in. The large yellow building is the accommodation, and the entrance is between the accommodation and the restaurant on the left side facing the accommodation. If you go through that iron door, you will find the accommodation!
The host is an old lady named Rossa, and although she doesn't speak English very well, she tries to explain things as kindly and easily as possible. When I said I wanted to use porter service on the day of check-out, they made a reservation for me.
I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews, but it was really good. It was the best accommodation, so beautiful and nice. We also upgraded our room.

I don't have enough words to express our love for this hotel, our most memorable stay by far. Since arrival at Il San Pietro di Positano, the service has been nothing short of exceptional. The check-in experience was both professional and personable, taking the time to explain important details about the hotel as well as letting us enjoy some peace and serenity having a welcome drink with insane views. Our room overlooking the sea is magnificent. The dinner at Zass was incredible, both in service and in flavors. Attention to detail at breakfast was beyond typical, making us feel at home & welcome as well as completely taken care of. We were able to experience the complimentary 2-hour boat tour of the Amalfi coast, which was a beautiful addition, as well as the cocktail masterclass where we learned so much about the origins of the Negroni and got to participate in the process of making our own cocktail. We've been to countless hotels around the world and the level of sophisticated service here surpasses every single one. All our needs were attended to beyond our expectations. We usually wait until check-out to write a review but this level of service needs cherishing and publicity for anyone debating where to stay in Positano or on the Amalfi coast. Thank you to all the staff and the general manager for putting so much thought and work into creating unforgettable experiences. Do not change anything, you are perfect!

We come to play in the off-season. There are not many hotels to choose from. When driving and navigating, we can only find directions. There is a one-way line in front of the door. We cannot park. The hotel stops at the designated parking lot. Hotel rooms are ok, ocean view rooms with small terraces, breakfasts are not many but they are good. It is still not recommended to live in Positano during the off-season. It is too depressed at night and there are few restaurants open. There is no one on the sea breeze on the street. Walking to the restaurant recommended by the hotel on the beach requires self-stories. It should be better to live in Almafi, and the surrounding Positano Ravello Suriento has enough time for the day to play

Wow what an amazing place to stay! From the moment we arrived the two ladies from Alcoine Residence (So sorry unsure on names) could not been more helpful. Yes it is not a hotel but the service they provide is much more personable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was incredibly clean and the view from our balcony was amazing! We loved choosing our breakfast and eating it on the balcony every morning. The facilities were amazing. One night we had our own dinner from the pizzeria and deli - the views were breathtaking. They also booked us a transfer back to the airport and booked us dinner reservations. We Would highly recommend staying here!!!

Hotel Montemare was a great option. Highly recommend staying here. My wife and I stayed here for 2 night during our Amalfi trip. The views from both the lobby and our room were stunning. The staff was extremely welcoming. The hotel also provides a great breakfast each morning. Given how steep Positano can be, the walk from the main beach/plaza was not too difficult compared to many other options. They have a bar/restaurant on site as well - however we did not eat there as we already had reservations elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel. We had several room as were a large family travelling and all rooms were great. Location is wonderful - next door to a bar called Franco which is all over instagram for its view. So your view from every room was amazing. The foyer and street front is tiny and heaps of little twists and turns in the corridors to access the rooms / but hang with it as the balconies are generous and fabulous. Food at breakfast and dinner on the balcony level were all great and a short stroll to the main shopping / beach access. Overall I was delighted with my stay.

Itβs dark when we arrive in Bosmino. I really donβt know how many turns we have taken when we arrive at this store. The navigation will take us to the top of the hotel. Actually, the car cannot reach here because there is a three-way road which is a one-way street. Under the guidance of some kind people, I found another road after returning. When I arrived at the hotel, I would first go to the parking lot. Then there was no one on the side. I didnβt find the bar. Actually, I need to take the elevator to the β0β floor. When I reached the β0β floor, I was immediately amazed by the scenery here. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. The sound of waves and breeze on the beach, plus candlelight dinner, really fits the romantic impression that Bosmino gives people. , I am also very grateful to the waiter for upgrading the room. The view of the villaβs room is great. Unfortunately, I stayed for two days and it was sunny and rainy. I didnβt have a good tour, but I gave it to this shop on this trip to Bosmino We have great memories! Would recommend friends!

Our stay at this beautiful hotel, an ancient residence once owned by the king of Naples , was excellent. Itβs hard to believe this property is in the centre of bustling Positano. Once you enter through the beautiful arch ways, it feels like a serene & private charming estate. You are completely unaware of the chaos outside. The gardens are beautiful & with a gorgeous pool with enough sunbeds for all the guests. The breakfast each morning is plentiful & set in the most beautiful courtyard. We booked the penthouse suite which was very big & perfectly comfortable for our family of four with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms plus an enormous terrace. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Best of all about this special property was the service. We could not fault the service at all during our stay from every department. Leonardo (guest relations manager) and his wonderful team did everything they could to make our stay so memorable. They organised everything for us from beach clubs, to restaurants, taxis, water taxis. It made for a seamless & enjoyable week. Thank you to everyone at Palazzo Murat, particularly Leonardo, Elena (at reception/concierge) & also Elena in F&B, Antonio at the pool. Because of you all, we had the most beautiful holiday. We have found our home away from home in Positano.

GGuest UserThe warm welcome of Riccardo at Il Moro di Positano and the breath-taking views from the public and private patios make all the town stairs up and down worth walking. Opening our balcony doors each morning to the view down over the buildings below to the blue sea and across to the high hills and sheer rocky mountains above was pure joy. Riccardo was everything you could wish for in a host. Always smiling and willing to make dinner recommendations and special tips to ease daytime activity plans. Switching languages flawlessly depending on the nationality of the guests. The rain shower and bidet in the bath added to the feel of luxury. The vast, varied spread of choices at the breakfast buffet set us up for each adventurous day. This B&B was certainly great value for the money and it was clear that the managerβs heart was in pleasing his guests. We were so happy to have stayed our 4 nights in Positano here at Il Moro.

Where do I begin? From weeks before my arrival to the day I left, I was met with some of the sweetest, kindest, and most amazing staff in the world. The experience was truly world-class, and the way the staff went above and beyond to make my stay the best ever was incredible. The property was breathtakingβpictures donβt do it justice. I was blown away by the views from the balcony and the beautiful rooms adorned with fresh flowers and intricate details. Day 1: We arrived on a very rainy day, and despite the downpour, we were greeted with umbrellas and someone to assist with our bags, which we truly appreciated. We ventured out to explore, and the staff provided us with umbrellas just in case it rained again. They also offered tips and tricks to navigate Positano, along with a list of fabulous restaurants. We took full advantage of Saraceno dβOra, which was near the hotel and had some of the best food in Positano. We went there every day during our stay! Day 2: This was my birthday, and they surprised me with a beautiful birthday treat during breakfast. The breakfast was amazing, and I appreciated that they asked how we liked certain things. Later, I went on a photo shoot excursion, and a lovely lady at the front deskβunfortunately, I canβt remember her nameβcalled to let them know I was ready. She also assisted us with dinner reservations at Chez Black, seating us with the best view in Positano. She helped us secure beach reservations at the beach club, and as we headed to the beach, we were offered beach towelsβyet another amazing touch to make the day even better. The hospitality at this beautiful place was unmatched. Day 3: Check-out day arrived, and I didnβt want to leave. I wish we could have spent more days at this stunning property. I told everyone back home they must stay here; the level of care is unbelievable and truly enhances the experience. I highly recommend that anyone stay here. For some reason, it says this is a 1-star hotel, but in the USA, it would be considered 5 stars due to the service, level of care, and personal touch. To everyone at Villa Yiara, thank you so much for everything. You made my birthday the most memorable and special day I could have ever asked for!

We booked at Palazzo Margherita about 10 months before they were taken for the summer.......and so glad we did. There were 5 of us (my wife, me, daughter, her husband, and our granddaughter) and we were booked in the Galli apartment. The booking went very well and we received word immediately from Mauro about our stay. Prior to arriving, if we had questions for Mauro, our emails were answered within a day. He's very good at getting back to you with a response. If you have a car (which we did) you will need to book a spot ASAP before the spots very close to the apartment get occupied. Our stay was absolutely remarkable! The apartment had plenty of room for all of us. We had two bedrooms and our granddaughter slept on the pulled out couch. Kitchen has most of everything you need. Even a small washing machine to wash clothes and then hang on a drying rack is there, which was helpful to us. To wake up each morning and have coffee on the balcony overlooking the water and coast is just plain breathtaking! I would sit every morning just enjoying the beauty of the Amalfi Coast!! There is a small grocery store about 50 yards from the apartment which has most of anything you need, just be careful walking....the roads are very curvy and the drivers have no fear. Also, a vegetable/fruit stand is another 30-40 yards past that with some very fresh products for sale. The walk to the beach below is a trek. Lots of stairs to go down and then climb up. Its a pretty treacherous climb but my wife and I were able to do it no more than twice a day (we're both in our mid-60's). Prior to us arriving, we did book with Mauro a full day boat trip to Capri.......if you have the opportunity to do this, DO IT! It was the best part of our stay there! Mauro will take care of everything for you. It was just the five of us and Hermes (the Captain) and the trip lasted the entire day. Of course, being clear, sunny, 85 degrees, on a boat 8 hours with drinks and snacks (supplied by the Captain) sure helped make it a memorable day!! The scenery and Capri will take your breath away! We did not spend any time on the beach but there were many people there enjoying it. The restaurants and stores were very typical touristy places, pricey for the most part, but the food was pretty good. Lots of people in early June so expect the crowds. In summary, I would book again in a blink at the Palazzo Margherita. Loved the apartment, loved the views from the apartment, loved the food in the restaurants, loved the boat ride, and Mauro took good care of us. Thanks to Mauro and Palazzo Margherita for making us happy and leaving us with such great memories of Positano!!

Stayed at this hotel with friends towards the end of trip. Loved how easy it was for our car was able to drop us off at the top of the hill and we just walked about a minute to entrance of the hotel. The only reason I gave this hotel a 4 star is because the breakfast is very lacking. I wish the selection was a bit bigger, or varied from day to day, but I guess it is what it is. The size of the room was great for 3 of us (one queen size bed and one twin size bed). Keep in mind when booking that this hotel is a trek from the beach, it takes about 30 minutes to walk down the road, or about 15 minutes if you take the steps straight down to the beach. Overall, would stay again, but would keep these things in mind if bringing kids.

Book it! Tip: Call the hotel directly. The price when we called and inquired was lower than what was shown on 3rd party sites. The staff is excellent. I repeat -they were excellent! It rivals the best hotels in the world for its elevated service. We loved the location, and if you want an excellent view with impeccable service for dining, Il Tridente, located on the pool level deck will not disappoint . In Positano, many restaurants are on the road with cars driving by. Hotel Poseidon provides an opportunity to dine above the noise of the street; far better than other options. I traveled with my 22year old son, and we both agreed it was the best meal we had from Rome to Sorrento and everywhere in between. Our room had a huge patio balcony with two lounge chairs and a bistro table. The stroll down to the beach is easy, and the stone steps down to the beach are close by if you prefer that. The hotel is positioned on the cliffs for the morning sunrise with your coffee. It is perfect, and has the charm and elegance you want in such a historic seaside town. We drove, and they made parking easy (we just pulled up and they took care of it). If you know about driving along the Amalfi coast, you know it isnβt easy and parking is a nightmare. Hotel Poseidon made it easy. We really loved it and would have stayed longer if we werenβt locked into reservations in another town the next few days. I will be back!

GGuest UserLoved this hotel and it is very well located. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a balcony. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It is walkable to stores, bus stop, restaurants, and the beach and ferry station. Service was excellent with yummy and varied breakfast buffet. We sent out a bag of laundry which was not crazy expensive for area and had a same day turn around. Definitely recommend. Great views from the balcony.

VVictoria MThis is a gorgeous little boutique hotel with the absolute best view in Positano! The hotel and its rooms have marble floors, which give them a very elegant feel. Everything was very clean and almost sparkled! I specifically booked this hotel for the view, and I am so glad I did. Breakfast was included, and if you book a room with a balcony, you can order from the breakfast menu and have it delivered to your room so you can enjoy it on the terrace. The food was so good, too - I miss my morning cornettos! We also had our own appertivo out on the balcony, and my husband didn't want to leave the hotel because he loved the view so much. The lady who runs the hotel (Maria I think her name was?) was so sweet and kind. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful.

Wow! My wife and I are a bit of βfly by the seat of your pantsβ and booked HVF just two days before we arrived. I booked the cheapest room at the hotel and YES, the room is small, but it was more than we needed. I took a Zoom call from our small balcony and made everyone back in the states extremely jealous. I want to point out how amazing the staff was. They could not have been any friendlier and any more professional. The food was OUTSTANDING, the pool was incredible and the views are unimaginable but the staff was by far the highlight of our stay. We had no reservations for anything... we walked in with just our bags in hand and they took care of the rest. They booked our excursions, all of our restaurants and even our transfer to our Airbnb in Atrani. I know this seems like one of those reviews that sounds like maybe I'm being paid to write but I felt the need to share my heartfelt feelings about this hotel. We could only be so lucky to get a chance to stay with them again! It was killer.
